research

Essential
oils

Despite
all
the
technical-scientific
knowledge
about
streptococcosis,
high
prevalence
of
bacterial
infections
caused
by
Streptococcus
spp.
in
Nile
tilapia
farming
implies
frequent,
often
irresponsible,
use
antibiotics.
The
chemotherapy
aquaculture
environments
remains
an
efficient
practice
treatment
and
disease
prevention.
Research
have
shown
that
emergence
antimicrobial
resistance
(AMR)
farmed
fish
is
one
main
challenges
faced
aquaculture.
It
known
emerging
AMR
can
be
transferred
to
clinically
important
strains
from
natural
environment
through
horizontal
gene
transfer
(HGT)
affecting
entire
aquatic
ecosystem.
Maintaining
health
farms
promotes
sustainability
production
systems
and,
consequently,
improves
final
quality
farm
products.
Therefore,
objective
this
review
was
provide
information
on
prevention,
control
eradication
diseases
farms,
how
such
management
plays
a
fundamental
role
maintaining
public
ensuring
adequate
sanitary
conditions
for
animals
intended
human
consumption.

Abstract
Aims
Nanoemulsions
based
on
plant
essential
oils
have
shown
promise
as
alternatives
against
fungal
pathogens
by
increasing
the
solubility
and
bioavailability
of
active
compounds

Abstract
The
nutritional
quality
