ABSTRACT The present study was carried out to isolate, identify, and characterize bacterial probiotic strain from the gut of Ctenopharyngodon idella (Grass carp) then its effect on growth, digestive enzymes immunity Labeo rohita fingerlings. A total 6 gram‐positive bacteria belonging genus Lactobacillus spp. (3), Bacillus (2) Staphylococcus (1), were identified biochemically. Based biochemical results, isolate GCLP4 selected for molecular confirmation BLAST analysis showed maximum homology with plantarum (100% ident). Fish fed 60 days diet containing 0 (T0), 10 5 (T1), 7 (T2), 9 (T3) cfu/g L. (T4) commercial probiotics. Results shows that supplementation had significantly ( p < 0.05) improve weight gain (%), specific growth rate (SGR) feed conversion ratio (FCR) better values in T3 group. immunological parameters (white blood cell, red haemoglobin, protein, albumin globulin higher diet. enzyme activities (protease, amylase lipase) higher, particularly, All groups supplemented including probiotics have lower serum transaminase along 0.005) level glucose as compared control results collectively suggest dietary at is an effective obtained grass carp having potency promote immune‐biochemical indices fingerlings culture condition.

The present study examined the effects of water additive mixed probiotics on quality, growth performance, feed utilization, biochemical analyses and disease resistance against Aeromonas sobria Nile tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus). Triplicate groups fingerlings (46 g) were fed a commercial diet (ALLER AQUA FEED) in four treatments control (0.0 g/m3), T1 (0.0010 gm m-3 day-1), T2 (0.0015 T3 (0.0020 day-1) probiotic ( AquaStar® Pond) for 60 days. quality parameters particularly total ammonia nitrogen (TAN) (NH3) decreased significantly (P ≤ 0.05) all three when compared to treatment. better values utilization hematology recorded groups. results also showed that fish reared with had lower mortality challenged sobria. Hence, used this is promising solution as an alternative product improve growth, health O. niloticus.
