Parental knowledge is often the result of parents soliciting information from their child and child’s disclosure that information. Although most closely (and negatively) associated with behavior problems in adolescence, it not yet known whether this also case childhood. The aim study was to examine longitudinal associations between disclosure, parental solicitation, Grades 1 4 a Canadian sample, taking into account intra-individual stability, gender, socioeconomic status. mothers teachers 911 children (62.7% boys) completed questionnaires 1, 2, 3, 4. A Random Intercept Cross-Lagged Panel Model (RI-CLPM) showed Grade 2 predicted an increase solicitation 3. Abstract From the 1950s–1990s, parental monitoring was conceptualized and studied as a “socializing mechanism,” driving changes in youth adjustment via several channels. In past 2 decades, has become re‐conceptualized many papers simply one of ways to obtain knowledge, with knowledge replacing construct central interest. This paper reviews literature showing that this re‐conceptualization is not supported by extant empirical evidence strongly contradicted theory, because may impact plausible do involve acquiring knowledge. Abstract Rationale Glycaemic control is a crucial aspect of managing type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM). Strict glycaemic has been proven to reduce the long‐term complications disease. Aims The aim this study was investigate effect parental involvement in care and social support on adolescents with T1DM. Methods In cross‐sectional study, 94 their parents admitted university hospital between January July 2023 were included study. Multidimensional Scale Perceived Social Support (PMDC‐R) Parental Monitoring (MSPSS) Diabetes Care Adolescents T1DM used as data collection tools. Results Females constituted 63.8% who participated females significantly lower than males ( p < 0.05). mean HbA1c 8.65 + 1.57. PMDC‐R MSPSS scores good poor compared. group statistically higher 0.05), but there no significant difference scores. Conclusion supervision plays protective role adolescents, better increases. ABSTRACT Ecological factors, such as family involvement and school context, are important to consider in understanding middle schoolers’ math development.
