Abstract The regenerated cellulose membrane (RC) was synthesized by dissolving cotton in NaOH/CO(NH 2 ) system. Polydopamine/Bismuth Tungstate/RC composite (RCPB) with visible light catalytic activity via loading polydopamine-modified bismuth tungstate (PDA/BWO) on the RC blending method. RCPB/PAN/RCPB sandwich structure through combining polyacrylonitrile (PAN) nanofiber and RCPB scraping method, which could reduce aqueous Cr(VI) under light. Characterization analysis showed that tensile strength, elongation at break, roughness initial water contact angle of were 32.1 MPa, 5.34%, 0.658 µm 69.0°, respectively. photoreduction percent reach 99.7% within 120 min a rate constant 0.0869 –1 , remained above 84.6% after four cycles. introduction PAN further improved mechanical properties recycling ability RCPB. Meanwhile, capture experiment revealed main active substance for photocatalytic reduction photogenerated e - . This work provides new idea treatment Cr(VI)-containing wastewater.

Titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a wide bandgap semiconductor that has range of applications including wastewater treatment, photocatalysis, solar cells, and sensors owing to its excellent electronic optical properties. However, the TiO2 (∼3.2 eV) along with recombination processes photoexcited charge carriers reduce interfacial transport properties respective activities. Energetics, response, corresponding photophysics excited can be altered through doping codoping composite formulation. Therefore, it very crucial understand structure–property property-application relationships doped, co-doped, maximize efficiency extend fundamental understanding for their in different fields. In this Perspective, we summarize ongoing research on advancement undoped, structure morphology, energetics, relative water-splitting reactions. We then propose our perspectives future potential energetic manipulation photocatalytic develop advanced highly efficacious catalytic materials.

Abstract Herein, Ag/TiO 2 /Nylon 6/PMMA catalyst system was developed, and its photocatalytic properties were fully analyzed. XRD, SEM, EDS, PL analyses carried out to get information on crystal structure, micromorphology, elemental composition, band gap energy. Photocatalytic degradation followed by UV–vis spectrophotometry. The of the found be between 2.51 3.1 eV. Up 80% achieved under UV light irradiation. No bulk adsorption observed, which means that reaction completely process. pH 3 value determined suitable for a high rate. Reaction kinetic matched with first-order rate law. newly developed polymer blend matrix here may have broad application prospects in remediation water resources.

Abstract It has become increasingly popular in recent years to create improved functionalized nanomaterials an effort enhance their physicochemical, catalytic, and biological capabilities. In this study, eco-friendly, especially water dispersible bio-nanocomposites containing metal ferrite, MFe 2 O 4 (M: Cu, Ni, Cd, Mn Co) nanoparticle were synthesized low-cost method from hemp biomass characterized by ATR-FTIR, XRD, SEM, TEM (STEM), EDX, VSM, Uv-Vis TG/DTG analyses. The variation of ionic conductivity with temperature concentration also catalytic effects against cationic dyes such as methylene blue (MB), crystal violet (CrV) malachite green oxalate (MGO) investigated. XRD patterns FTIR spectra the AHB-MFe , stretching Fe-O M-O, showed formation ferrite bio-nanocomposites. Also, interaction between nanoparticles was obviously seen . determined that have high thermal stability, negative surface charge. Moreover, they exhibited performance MB, CrV MGO.
