Abstract The stress generation hypothesis suggests that certain maladaptive personality traits significantly contribute to the of negative life events (NLEs) in people’s lives through inherent mechanisms. Previous research indicated impact generating risk factors might be augmented or weakened by other transdiagnostic such as looming cognitive style (LCS) which includes physical and social have been found predict different domains stressors. Therefore, present study aimed examine moderating roles dimensions LCS separately, relationship between perfectionism (i.e., socially prescribed perfectionism) a group emerging adults. One-hundred ninety nine (134 females) undergraduate students aged 18–25 ( M = 20.23, SD 1.56) completed an online questionnaire measured their level perfectionism, LCS, NLEs twice over six-week interval. results showed only moderated (SPP) interpersonal at time 2. These findings show augmenting on effect elevated SPP, highlighting importance examining co-occuring vulnerabilities rather than single process.

ABSTRACT Objective Reality perception is often altered by general dispositional factors that are associated with emotional vulnerability, both inherited and acquired, emerge in a specific learning context. The current study will examine whether neuroticism looming cognitive style, account for interact manner influences the evaluative conditioning effect (the magnitude of valence change conditioned stimulus due to pairing an unconditioned stimulus). Method To achieve this, we implement procedure pairs positive stimuli, nonthreatening negative threatening stimuli neutral stimuli. Participants also provide measures threat characteristics along assessments style. Results We expect be mediated evaluations moderate values whereas transfer from Conclusions presume explain reactivity valenced while style bias evaluation.
