The issue of English learning at public senior high school 2 Palembayan, where students' limited ability to write descriptive texts negatively impacted their overall outcomes, sparked this research. Therefore, research aimed improve using the picture comment method in school. This is a classroom action study that employs qualitative approach. A total 29 students from class X. IPS2 Palembayan participated instruments used collect data were observation sheets, documentation, and tests. analyzed obtained both quantitative methods. findings each implemented cycle demonstrated significant increase method. In I, outcomes writing text by only reached 62% completion with an average score 68, while II, it showed fairly 80 86%. we can conclude enhances skills X.IPS2 Palembayan.

Abstract AI-powered platforms for dynamic writing present transformative opportunities to enhance English language acquisition and actively engage learners in tasks. However, the role of artificial intelligence improving proficiency fostering motivation among as a Foreign Language (EFL) remains an area that has yet be thoroughly investigated. This research endeavor seeks address prevailing knowledge gap field by exploring influence on skills EFL learners. The study's objectives encompass assessment impact these coherence, vocabulary usage, grammatical accuracy, task accomplishment, learner motivation. Utilizing mixed-methods approach, study examined 65 intermediate students from Islamic Azad University, Varamin-Pishva branch, who were divided into two groups: one employed tools, while other followed traditional classroom-based exercises. Quantitative data gathered via IELTS-based assessments scales, qualitative insights derived semi-structured interviews. findings revealed substantial enhancements AI group across all measured dimensions comparison control group. Additionally, demonstrated significant surge levels. Abstract The integration of AI‐based platforms, such as Poe and Gemini, into language instruction has garnered increasing attention for their potential to enhance writing skills. Despite this interest, little is known about effects on EFL learners' positive emotions (PEs), academic self‐efficacy boredom in writing. Addressing gap, the present study investigated effectiveness Gemini developing skills explored impact PEs, among learners at upper‐intermediate level. For purpose, a total 519 Japanese were randomly assigned three groups: (1) Poe‐assisted instruction; (2) Gemini‐assisted (3) control group (CG) receiving traditional instruction. employed mixed‐methods design, incorporating both quantitative qualitative data collection. Writing development was assessed through pre‐ post‐tests, while emotions, measured using validated scales. Additionally, gathered interviews analysed coding thematic analysis understand attitudes perceptions. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) writing tools in second language (L2) academic presents both opportunities and challenges for medical education. This study employed a SWOT (strengths–weaknesses–opportunities–threats) analysis to examine students’ perspectives on using AI their practice. Forty-two students from major Iranian university participated the study, providing weekly reflections final over 15-week course.
