Biosecurity
in
poultry
farms
represents
the
first
line
of
defense
against
entry
and
spread
pathogens
that
may
have
animal
health,
food
safety,
economic
consequences.
The
aim
this
study
was
to
assess
biosecurity
compliance
located
a
densely
populated
area
North
East
Italy.
A
total
259
(i.e.,
broilers,
turkeys,
layers)
were
surveyed
between
2018
2019
using
standardized
checklists,
differences
sectors
years
(only
for
turkey
farms)
tested
significance.
Among
three
sectors,
showed
highest
compliance.
Farm
hygiene,
infrastructure
condition,
cleaning
disinfection
tools,
procedures
measures
most
complied
with.
Some
deficiencies
observed
cleanliness
farm
hygiene
lock
broiler
farms,
as
well
presence
house
layer
an
adequate
coverage
built-up
litter
farms.
In
conclusion,
highlighted

high
level
visited

national

trends

ongoing
COVID-19
pandemic
has
caught
the
attention
of
global
community
and
rekindled
debate
about
our
ability
to
prevent
manage
outbreaks,
epidemics,
pandemics.

COVID-19
pandemic
has
stalled

Sustainable
Development
Goals
(SDGs).
Ecosystem
services
(ESs),

while
