This
study
evaluates
the
levels
of
natural
radioactivity
in
surface
soil
samples
across
all
districts
Mardin
Province,
Turkiye,
using
data
from
Turkish
Environmental
Radioactivity
Atlas.
The
activity
concentration
Ra-226,
Th-232,
K-40,
and
Cs-137
were
re-mapped,
radiological
parameters
(Raeq,
DR,
Hex,
AEDE,
AGDE,
ELCR)
calculated
for
an
environmental
risk
assessment.

Ra-226

exceeded
Turkiye
but
remained
near
UNSCEAR
global
median.
Th-232

lower
than
both
reference
values,
while
