This paper presents an environmental analysis of the impact emergency discharge untreated municipal sewage from system in Warsaw. study was based on monitoring water quality Vistula River at stations located before and after site. Statistical analysis, including correlation Friedmann’s test, performed for data covering eight measurement sixteen chemical parameters. The results confirm negative river, especially mixing zone. In zone, a statistically significant increase pollution found TN, N-NO3−, N-NH4+, TP, P-PO43+, SS, EC, COD, TOC. show self-cleaning capacity river ecosystem illustrate response to sudden, excessive influx pollution. direct section 1200 m place failure. good ecological status drinking standards are not met supply people requires use highly effective physical treatment.

The bioaccumulation of trace elements and heavy metals in aquatic organisms is a critical environmental concern due to its potential impact on ecosystem health human safety. This study investigated the level Labeo rohita Mystus seenghala from River Jhelum district Khushab, Punjab, Pakistan. concentration calcium, magnesium, iron, nickel, copper, arsenic, cadmium, zinc, chromium, manganese, cobalt, lead gills, liver, muscle tissues these fish was measured using inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry. Then, extent contamination possible risks were assayed. Our findings indicate significant variations elemental metal concentrations among different organs between species, reflecting their diverse feeding habits habitats. risk assessment based estimated daily intake, weekly maximum permissible target hazard quotient, index or total index, cancer revealed consumers fish. emphasizes need for continuous monitoring, as new data insights are crucial understanding mitigating risks. Strict regulatory measures also necessary safeguard public preserve River.

This study investigates the geological and anthropogenic sources of Tin, zinc, cadmium, vanadium in western Sokoto Basin, employing multivariate statistical analysis to understand their distribution, interactions, implications for groundwater quality environmental management. In Western Sokoto, Nigeria, this research water terms temperature, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), oxygen (DO), turbidity (TUR), concentration some heavy metals such as zinc (Zn), cadmium (Cd), (V), Tin (Sn). The employed both in-situ laboratory analysis. physical parameters were analysed situ using hand-held meters. Heavy an MP-AES machine (Model 4200). further applied Principal Component Analysis analyse data. Based on (PCA) among parameters, results showed that EC, TDS, Zn, V can be described highly correlated. combination these explains 33.042% variance quality. addition, Sn independently accounts 21.863% independent information, thus giving a explanation 55% overall variability dataset. Spatial examination shows different effects pollution sources, industrial agricultural activities, contamination levels unmitigated concentrations Cd Sn's incidences pose high public health threats. findings highlight important role ions metal significantly affect regional resources Amongst significant recommendations are continuous monitoring identify hotspots, enforcement control measures, targeted remediation areas with Sn. Awareness risks strengthened policies waste management protection also necessary sustainable study, therefore, emphasises localized strategies mitigate protect concerning part basin.

Abstract The study explores the spatial distribution and trends of groundwater pollutants focusing on calcium four other key water quality parameters in Gurage Zone, Ethiopia, 2024. It uses ArcGIS geostatistical analysis tool with Kriging algorithm to map analyze variability contaminants. primary aim is identify areas high levels understand patterns. identifies contamination hotspots associated natural processes human activities. Twenty-seven samples were collected from various sites, like calcium, total dissolved solids, hardness, conductivity, alkalinity measured. findings show that contaminants varies significantly across different areas, some exceeding safe drinking limits. reveals southern region has highest concentration, shallow local boreholes. deeper wells have higher conductivity. trend shows increased pollutant along X Y axes. model effectively predicted unsampled offering a reliable technique aimed at monitoring. provides important insights for authorities implement interventions protection Zone.

Abstract Water is used for cooling in the power generation processes of a plant to regulate temperature equipment, circulating, it can accumulate main ions (HCO3, CO32−, SO42−,CI, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+) water. The article investigates factors that influence parameters content recycling water and conducts an environmental assessment discharge, identifying correlation dependencies allow predicting after aqueous discharge wastewater. purpose this investigate formation trends composition major technological cycle plant's circulating system surface river area influence. Moreover, paper, grey footprint studied as tool implementing combined approach use assessment. research was conducted using process from operating nuclear Styr River (Ukraine). Furthermore, work related solving tasks assessing non-radiological impact plant. In particular, concentration monitored by certified measuring laboratory. novelty our study lies application statistical regression analysis assess with return on natural waters river.
