This
study
evaluated
the
concentrations
of
tetracycline,
erythromycin,
and
sulfonamide
in
beef,
eggs,
honey
products
sold
at
grocery
stores
whether
standard
cooking
to
160
°F
(71
°C)
reduced
antimicrobials
spiked
into
food
products.
In
June
2021,
selected
65
samples
(8

samples)
purchased
from

Knoxville,
Tennessee,
were
measured
using
enzyme-linked

ABSTRACT
Aeromonas
hydrophila
(
A.
),
a
Gram‐negative
bacterium
commonly
found
in
aquatic
environments,

transmitted

through

of

or

Antibiotic
residues
have
become
serious
health
concerns
due
to
the
development
of
antibiotic-resistant
bacteria.
The
treatment

wastewater

widely
used

health

Excessive
use

waste
management
