Abstract Microplastics are polymer-based materials with carbon as their main framework. During degradation, they release greenhouse gases such dioxide and methane. Additionally, environmental microplastics can enter plant tissues, triggering oxidative stress in cells, adversely affecting photosynthesis, metabolism, gene expression, other growth parameters. This reduction efficiency sequestering utilizing atmospheric indirectly impacts global cycling, exacerbating the effect. Furthermore, significantly alter soil structure composition of microbial communities, emissions dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, thus promoting gas emissions. Increasing research suggests a mutual reinforcement between microplastic pollution climate warming, where exacerbates rise average temperature leads to resuspension sediments, intensifying environment. article primarily focuses on different ecosystems relationship warming. It summarizes effects marine, terrestrial, ecosystems, well mechanisms by which change affect ecosystem services. By delving into intricate connection emissions, this paper aims raise awareness caused calls for further change, ultimate goal protecting human health. Graphical

Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) are widespread environmental contaminants that have been shown to contribute human exposure, thereby raising a range of health concerns. In this context, biomonitoring is essential for linking exposure levels PFAS with their potential risks. Mass spectrometry-based analytical techniques extensively adopted the evaluation across various cohorts. However, challenges arising from use biological samples (e.g., plasma, serum, urine, etc.) necessitate ongoing research refinement methodologies. This review provides an overview current trends in mass approaches PFAS, including sample collection preparation, instrumental techniques. We also explore strategies overcome obtaining PFAS-free blank matrices address risk background contamination. Moreover, examines differing patterns regions by analyzing recent international cohort studies, specifically those conducted US China over past five years. Accordingly, several key gaps studies need be addressed moving forward highlighted.

Limited data are available for the occurrence of more recent per and polyfluorinated alkyl substances (PFAS) in marine mammals, especially from St. Lawrence Estuary Gulf. This study investigates PFAS liver muscle tissues various including harbor seal, gray harp hooded porpoise, white-sided dolphin, white-beaked True’s beaked whale. Among 80 target (including PFCAs, PFSAs, Cyclic PFSA, FASAs/FASAAs, FTCAs/FTUCAs, FTSAs, Ether-PFAS, diPAPs, ESI + ECF precursors) perfluorooctanoic sulfonate (PFOS) dominates all mammal species several other long-chain such as PFNA, PFDA, PFUnA, PFTrDA, PFHxDA, were detected at 100% frequency both samples. PFDoA 7:3 fluorotelomer carboxylic acid (7:3 acid) also showed a detection Harp seal displayed notably low concentrations, with average total concentrations 7 ng/g (ww: wet weight) 44 (ww) liver. In contrast, dolphin exhibited highest reaching 39 334 The Pearson correlation analysis reveals strong between concentration PFOS, perfluoroalkyl acids (PFCAs), electrochemical fluorination (ECF) precursors. Species top food chain (harbor white sided dolphin) presented PFAS, particularly PFOS highlighting need an increased regulation these persistent molecules order to protect mammal’s health.

Driven by global carbon neutrality goals, biochar has gained significant attention due to its stable sequestration capabilities and environmental benefits. This research employs bibliometric tools such as VOSviewer 1.6.16, Citespace 6.2 R6, Scimago Graphica systematically analyze 2076 publications from the Web of Science Core Collection between 2007 2024, aiming clarify evolutionary trajectory, hotspots, international collaboration patterns while identifying future knowledge gaps for innovation. Research results reveal a three-stage developmental characteristic: 2007–2014 was slow accumulation period fundamental mechanism exploration, 2015–2020 an accelerated expansion driven policies like Paris Agreement, 2021 present marks exponential growth phase interdisciplinary integration market consolidation. China United States are core producing countries, though inter-institutional deep remains insufficient. hotspots have progressively shifted early preparation stability multiple waste materials (such rice straw urban waste) co-pyrolysis technologies (significantly emerging since 2022), with machine learning applications in process optimization becoming nascent direction. The study recommends increasing cross-disciplinary funding, establishing raw material pollution standards, promoting coordinated that combine agricultural efficiency support reduction objectives. Notably, research’s reliance on may limit coverage non-English literature regional studies. By quantitatively analyzing technological evolution networks, this provides data-driven framework optimizing strategies, helping bridge gap laboratory potential actual climate emission reduction, offering focused action pathways policymakers researchers.

An uptick in student enrollment at UIN Raden Intan Lampung has led to a correlated surge vehicular activity, amplifying existing challenges related auditory pollution that could interfere with educational activities. This study aims explore the interrelationship between density of flow and ambient noise levels within campus while also assessing whether observed transgress thresholds established by environmental guidelines. A quantitative, descriptive methodology been adopted for this investigation. Data points concerning both volume vehicles corresponding were collected diverse locations across over multiple weekdays. The data reveals Thursdays experience highest count 648 per hour. In contrast, Mondays witness least, recorded 344 Veh/Hour. Noise peak 73.33 dB on dip their lowest 67.92 Mondays. Ultimately, breach acceptable limits as dictated 1996 Ministerial Decree Environmental Affairs, which specifies 55 limit settings. These results highlight urgency targeted intervention mitigation approaches minimize adverse acoustic impact scholastic community.
