Purpose Over the last 2 decades, supply chain sustainability research has become a highly dynamic and fruitful study area. This field garnered significant attention due to its potential reshape decision-making processes within chains. At same time, practical side of operations remains intensely competitive in today’s business landscape. Furthermore, current academic aims outline effective strategies for achieving across chains, particularly manufacturing sector. In response these challenges, this conducted an integrated multi-criteria approach evaluate sustainable performance from triple bottom line perspective, including financial, environmental, social performance. Design/methodology/approach The initial stage involves selecting crucial criteria (short-term long-term) alternatives (SSCP) experts conducting in-depth literature review. Initially, there were 17 criteria, but after pilot test with co-authors online discussions experts, number was subsequently reduced 9. second phase, Best-Worst Method (BWM) applied rank prioritize criteria. third final examined causal relationship between identified utilizing Decision-Making Trial Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) technique. Findings Based on BWM analysis results, top three terms prominence are: (1) return investment (ROI), (2) product quality, (3) lead time. Out alternatives, financial (FP) is most dimension SSCP, followed by environmental (ENP) (SP). On other hand, DEMATEL showed that work health safety criterion), asset utilization (long-term energy consumption waste disposal time on-time delivery criterion) are categorized cause group, while such as (ROI) customer-service level quality fall into effect group. Research limitations/implications proposed certain drawbacks pave way future directions. First, it worth noting need larger sample size ensure reliability inclusion additional enhance assessment performance, consideration qualitative gain deeper insights outcomes. addition, fuzziness subjective perception could be imperative when collecting data reliability, translating experts’ perceptions exact numerical values can challenging because human often carry elements uncertainty or vagueness. Therefore, fuzzy MCDM frameworks better suited handle uncertainties involved perceptions, making more appropriate scenarios where traditional methods may prove insufficient. Practical implications framework will enable decision-makers how various decision impact thus providing comprehensive evaluation SSCP considers multiple dimensions, Originality/value first empirical integrate both approaches context.

As the world undergoes significant transformations in various domains, including technology, energy supply and communication, idea of sustainability has become a issue. This study investigates barriers to Sustainable Lean Supply Chain (SLSC) management within Small Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) explores structural interrelationships among these barriers. A comprehensive literature review was carried out recognize critical elements relevant research topic, resulting identification fifteen specific that account for 85% SLSC management. The DEMATEL method used evaluate significance influence levels factors. Furthermore, structured in-depth interviews were conducted with ten experts representing sectors constitute SMEs operating Kayseri Organized Industrial Zone (OIZ), Turkey, metal products, furniture, plastic packaging, construction materials, textiles food. findings reveal strategies represent most barrier SMEs. analyzed two dimensions: influencing influenced primary factor identified laws, standards, regulations, legislation while found suppliers. concludes actionable recommendations practitioners decision-makers.

Design/methodology/approach To end, systematic review conducted using Preferred Reporting Items Systematic Reviews Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) tool, whose steps evaluation criteria resulted portfolio 87 articles. These were analyzed based pre-established from scope, design application. Findings The results revealed emerging field, but with domain still underexplored. No formal found literature. Thus, paper presents first definition which can be understood as organization’s dynamic capability leverage its digital assets promote performance economic, environmental social dimensions. Regarding models, 72 identified considering both domains. only nine them provided model evaluating DSM. Overall, presented varied architectures, made impossible determine consistent approach domain. This study aims to identify and prioritize the strategies for overcoming digital supply chain (DSC) implementation barriers. Twenty-five DSC barriers seventeen are formulated through an extensive literature review expert discussion. An integrated Modified Stepwise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) Combined Compromise Solution (CoCoSo) based framework has been used fulfil research objective. A case in automotive industry is undertaken assess applicability of proposed framework. With help experts, a pairwise comparison matrix developed critical strategies. The result shows that "absence urgency SC digitalization", lack proper innovation strategies", "Inadequate leadership lead transformation "are highest-ranked needs be overcome on priority basis, "determined top management commitment digitalization gain competitive edge", "planning coordination implementing technologies SC", "Adequate investment comprehensive digitalized business" top-ranked which considered basis by most Accordingly, should effectively plan mitigate implement phase-wise successful implementation. will also guide practitioner select optimal within available resources. Sensitivity analysis done obtained results, whose model robust as ranking relatively sensitive barrier weights.
