Spondias mombin L. (Anacardiaceae) is an arboreal and allogamous fruit tree native from southern Mexico to southeastern Brazil, with great potential for economic exploitation. This study aimed evaluate the structure genomic diversity of yellow accessions collected in nine locations Brazil using Single Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNP) markers. Significant genetic was observed discriminant analysis principal components (DAPC) dendrogram construction, accordance our hypotheses. The Mantel test identified a highly positive significant correlation between geographic distances. Amazon biome presented higher values when compared those Atlantic Forest Cerrado, which expected considering vulnerability these biomes. However, although presenting greater diversity, showed inbreeding coefficients (F IS ) three four locations, ranging 0.0855 0.2421, indicating risk erosion, possibly related increased degradation this recent decades. results obtained contribute understanding distribution variation conservation status Brazil. They could also be used as subsidy developing strategies improvement species.

The objective of the study was to determine whether Parkia platycephala families with superior morphophysiological traits perform consistently across four stages early development (plantlets, seedlings, and juveniles at 34 60 months), as a means assess possibility conducting pre-selection. For 21 traits, following genetic parameters were estimated: heritability, coefficients variation (genetic, relative, environmental), accuracy, phenotypic correlation, percentage coincidence (PC) best families, effective population size, inbreeding in three progeny tests conducted under laboratory, nursery, field conditions. Families P. showed significant genotypic differences. evaluated show control. between more accurate when selection intensity greater than 50% (PC ≥ 52%). Based on pre-selection strategy juvenile stage for researched effectively identify families.
