Biological
invasions
are
among
the
main
causes
of
biodiversity
loss
on
planet.
Losses
accentuated
in
streams,
which
sensitive
to
human
impacts,
since
they
have
specialized
fauna
and
higher
degree
endemism.
Despite
this,
studies
by
non-native
fish
streams
incipient
Brazil.
In
this
review,
we
present
an
introduction
process
(i.e.,
stages)
biological
invasion,
environmental
factors
that
influence
establishment

streams.
A
methodological
step-by-step

presented

a

Abstract
Among
Neotropical
freshwater
ecoregions,
the
Mid-Northeastern
Caatinga
(MNCE)
is
a
fish
knowledge
gap.
Its
temporary
drainages
are
receptors
of
São
Francisco
interbasin
water
transfer
project
(SFR-IWT)
in
Brazilian
semiarid.
We
provide
comprehensive
baseline
richness
five
SFR-IWT
basins.
Species
richness,
shared,
endemic,
threatened
and
non-native
species
were
obtained
using
sampling,
ichthyologic
collections,
literature
online
repositories
(306
localities).
In
total
121,
recorded,
111
them
native,
16
(14.41%)
listed
for
all
Higher
native
(78,
70.27%)
was
recorded
lower-middle
stretch
(SFRE),
including
23
61
(54.95%)
MNCE
basins
(13
endemic),
28
(25.23%)
shared
between
both
ecoregions.

Abstract
Projects
on
river
basin
integration
are
keen
social-economical
drivers
in
dry
regions
like
the
Brazilian
semiarid,
however,
there
concerning

impacts
