Background: Ultrasonic irradiation has the remarkable potential to amplify reactivity by a factor of approximately one million. Objectives: Pyrimidines are vital group compounds known for their anticancer activities. This study delves into investigating application ultrasonic synthesis pyridopyrimidine derivatives. Methods: In our study, we utilized pyrimidine derivatives 1, 2a, and 2b reducing agents during creation selenium nanoparticles (Het-SeNPs). characterization these was executed through range analytical approaches, including ultraviolet-visible spectrometry, dynamic light scattering (DLS, Zeta), transmission electron microscopy (TEM). Additionally, FTIR NMR spectroscopic examinations provided proof formation within synthesized molecules 2b. Abstract Seborrheic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory disease caused by Malassezia yeast species that affects the regions of body where sebaceous glands are present. The combined use different essential oils (EOs) can increase their spectrum action. Thus, present study aimed to evaluate action EOs alone and in combination with each other on M. furfur, planktonic biofilm form, anti-inflammatory mutagenic potential, addition effects viability cells lines. Of 40 evaluated EOs, 22 showed activity against furfur at 0.5 – 2.0 mg/mL concentrations. Among most active species, blend (BEOs) composed Cymbopogon martini (Roxb.) Will. Espresso machine is proven to be effective extract compound from herbal plants in small scale. Particle size one of critical parameters affecting amount bioactive extracted the plants. Therefore, this study, a novel and economical pressurized liquid extraction method based on hard caps espresso has been developed. Cymbopogon nardus powder with various particle (mesh sizes 40/60, 60/80 100/120) were 40mL water for 12-40 seconds using machine. Geraniol content obtained extracts then determined by gas chromatography paired tandem mass spectrometry (GC-MS). This study showed that geraniol C. mesh 100/120 37.4; 44.7 23.5mg/g, respectively. The highest was found powder. result indeed affect concentration developed proved fast, efficient reliable. Further should performed find optimum process

Introduction: Geraniol (Ger), a monoterpene, is common constituent of several essential oils. This study explored the anticonvulsant effect Ger in-vitro using nerve growth factor (NGF) prompted PC12 cell injured by Glutamate (Glu) and in-vivo Pentylenetetrazole (PTZ)-induced kindling through GABAergic pathway. Materials: To assess on NGF cells Glu, at concentrations 25, 50, 100, 200 400 μg/mL was used. GABA, 5-HT, IL-1β, IL-4, TNF-α levels gene expressions GABAA-Rα 1, NMDAR1, GAD 65, 67, GAT 1 3 were measured in NGF-induced treated with (100, μg/mL). Mice randomly separated into five groups. Normal PTZ groups which mice injected saline or PTZ, respectively. + SV orally administered sodium valproate (SV), respectively, then PTZ. Results: up to did not display any toxicity injury cells. (100 μg/mL) reduced induced increased expression GAD65 GAD67 decreased NMDAR1 damaged Glu. GABA TNF-α, IL-4 IL-1β As for results, GAD, lowered T. mitigated MDA, NO, IL-6, IFN-γ, GFAP, caspase-3, − 9 Bax escalated GSH, SOD, catalase, BDNF Bcl2 expression. Abstract (1) Background : The Omicron variant of SARS-CoV-2 has rapidly spread and is now the predominant worldwide. In contrast, medicinal plants have been utilized as alternative therapies alleviate certain signs symptoms associated with COVID-19. this study; Malabar tamarind, which belongs Clusiaceae family, was studied for HPTLC fingerprint total methanolic extract, quantitative determination phenolics flavonoids, in-vitro evaluation antioxidant potential, followed by molecular docking study three reported metabolites; Guttiferones Q, R S, order measure their affinity against target site Spike Protein (2) Methods Total phenolic content evaluated Folin-Catechu assay, flavonoids aluminum chloride assay. Antioxidant potential estimated DPPH while silico processed use Azithromycin a reference drug (3) Results Tamarind exhibited free radical-scavenging activity 71.75 % inhibition. results suggested that Guttiferone highest binding affinity, alongside predicted energy -8.67 kcal/mol an RMSD value 1.07 Å compared Azithromycin, compound, -8.90 1.20 Å.
