Different factors, including microbial resistance, have led to food contamination and increased human intoxication risks. Therefore, finding new adequate methods fight against bacterial development is of interest. This study investigates the efficiency eucalyptus essential oils inhibit growth Escherichia coli , Klebsiella pneumoniae Listeria innocua Salmonella typhimurium Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes. Oils were extracted from leaves by hydrodistillation chemically analyzed on a coupled gas chromatography–mass spectrometer. The antibacterial activity was assessed in both culture media film models. Results indicated that rich different chemicals α ‐pinene E. obliqua (89.3%), grandis (39.9%), microcoris (29.6%); p‐cymene camaldulensis (40.1%) (25.8%); eucalyptol viminalis (88.3%), crebra (84.6%), polyanthemus (80.7%), melliodora (78%), maiden (74.8%), globulus (70.4%) oils. Terpinen‐4‐ol found anceps (5.7%) (5.6%) while contained β ‐phellandrene (4.7%), cis‐ trans‐piperitols (6.5%), (cis)‐p‐(2 menthen)‐1‐ol (8.3%), geraniol (19.9%), piperitone (10.5%). In comparison with known antibiotic, azithromycin, exhibited significant antimicrobial efficacy all tested microorganisms. these be higher than other ( p < 0.05), minimum inhibitory concentration bactericidal ranging 0.5 7 2.5 20 μ L/mL, respectively. Yet, at concentrations (5–15 L/mL), hydroxy‐propyl cellulose (HPC) films containing inhibition bacteria compared HPC 0.001). Further needed for their various valorization.

In the ancient time Eucalyptus globulus used for various purpose. It is a tall and an evergreen tree that can grow up to height of 70m its diameter about 4 7 ft. Which was first found on island Tasmania in 1792 which associate Myrtaceous family commonly called as Tasmanian Blue Gum, southern blue gum or are different names eucalyptus parts India. The particular species have been purposes. had rich source phytochemical constituent also possesses medicinal use. Phytochemical analysis this plant has revealed Mother tincture extracted from leaf contain 1,8-cineole, α-pinene, p-cymene, cryptone spathulenol. Due these chemical compounds, glabrous be potential anti-microbial, anti-fungal, anti-viral, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, anti-nociceptive anti-oxidant agent nature. Some recent scientific investigations essential oil anti-diabatic potentials enhances market value due excessive usage number pharmaceutical products traditional advanced system medicines. aim review paper compiling all information Globulus such Decongestant, Antipyretic, Anti-inflammatory, Analgesic, Anti-nociceptive, Antimicrobial, Anti-fungal, Antiviral Anti-oxidant nature with Acute Case Records & So effectively Treatment Patients Viral Conditions like URTI (Upper Respiratory Tract Infection), Influenza, COVID-19, Common Cold etc.

This research explores the potential of green encapsules uploaded with eucalypt essential oil (EEOs) in enhancing their functionality and application pest control, focusing on suitable ecotype selection from King Abdulaziz University (KAU) campus, Hada Al-Sham (HAS) village, Briman district as well optimizing extraction processes. Eucalypt hybrids' leaves were collected three different sites, EEOs extracted using microwave-assisted steam distillation (MASD) electric (ESD) techniques. The physical chemical properties EEO determined. identification volatile ingredients resulting was conducted GC/MS after saponification methylation procedures, compared to those obtained Eucalyptus globulus Labill, ideal species containing 1,8-cineol, principal compound its oil. 1,8-cineole found be major constituent all over two methods, regardless ecotypes examined, interfered other minor components such 3-carene, α-pinene, α-myrcene, D-limonene, α-terpinene. grown at village had highest cineole content (59.29%) among sites studied. Compared ESD technique, MASD showed much promise because it is simple, facile, more ecofriendly cost-effective, kept oils true original form, allows warm larger machines spaces. polymeric either guar gum crosslinked by borax or sodium alginate calcium chloride fabricated. Moreover, a bioassay screening evaluated against termite infection. versatile tools wide range applications; particular, displayed superior characteristics. Furthermore, encapsule type exposure duration, mortality (%) insects exceeded significantly for high cineol concentrations lower ones both alginate-based (ABEs) gum-based (GGBEs). higher concentrations, percent termites. finding can attributed rapid toxic effect concentrations.

Plants have evolved complex terpene defenses. Terpenoids accumulate in plant tissues or release as volatile response to ever-changing environment, playing essential roles chemo-ecological functions defense against pathogen and insect, improving pollination seed dispersal, facilitation plant-to-plant communication. They are also gaining attention pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, fragrance, biofuels. Here, we highlight the recent progress fundamental pathways of terpenoid biosynthesis, key enzymes, their corresponding genes involved synthesis. We identified further exploration biosynthetic networks development novel resources, proposed need for resources. Based on that knowledge, future research should be directed towards mechanisms governing biosynthesis dependent environmental change molecular breeding.

Propolis is a honeybee product with significant biological properties, strongly influenced by geographic and floral origin as well extraction method. Ultrasound-assisted (UAE) an emerging alternative for propolis preparation. This study aimed to determine the optimal UAE conditions total polyphenol content (TPC) flavonoid (TFC) in Chilean compare its antioxidant antimicrobial capacities conventional was performed varying ethanol concentrations (50–90%), temperatures (20–60 °C), times (10–50 min), keeping solid/liquid ratio constant at 1:10 (w/v). The ethanolic extract (OE) compared (CE) activity against Salmonella enterica Listeria monocytogenes capacity (DPPH, ABTS, FRAP assays). Optimal were 80% ethanol, 30 °C, min. OE showed significantly higher (p < 0.05) TPC (22.4 ± 0.3 mg GAE/mL), TFC (15.7 0.7 QE/mL), (ABTS: 35.7 0.9; DPPH: 62.9 0.3; FRAP: 49.7 2.1 µmol TE/mL), evaluated Gram-positive bacteria (>15 mm inhibition halo, MBC = 3.1 mg/mL) CE. bioaccessibility analysis revealed that maintained 20.1% of 69.5%, 60.5%, 61.9% DPPH, FRAP, respectively, after simulated gastrointestinal digestion. established generated extracts increased content, capacity, activity, bioaccessibility, indicating potential method enhanced bioactivity.
