Maternal distress increased during the COVID-19 pandemic, significantly impacting children's media use. Family travel often involves conflicts and compromises between parents children, as balance their parental role expectations with own desire for leisure. Based on theory, we collected cross-sectional data parenting-to-leisure conflict resolution behaviors to identify clusters of family experience patterns using latent class analysis. The analysis identified four classes: "conflicting journey: active solvers," self-repression "harmonious child-centered solvers" self-neglect solvers." Each cohort has distinct demographics, well distal outcomes, i.e. intention separate from children purchase childcare services.

The COVID‐19 pandemic had negative effects on many people's well‐being and quality of life. In the present work, we focused Norwegian mothers with elementary school children, investigated whether their well‐being, stress, worries (and relationships between them) changed across early months pandemic. We collected data at two time points in 2020. Purpose Working mothers experienced dramatic changes to their daily routines during the COVID-19 pandemic. Many began work from home as they simultaneously tried balance demands with tending children. The purpose of current study was examine working mothers’ experiences Design/methodology/approach In order telework pandemic, we conducted a focus group study. 45 participated, and answered questions about experiences. The COVID-19 pandemic has had serious negative health and economic impacts in sub-Saharan Africa. Continuous monitoring of these is crucial to formulate interventions minimize the consequences COVID-19. For caregivers of school-age children, schooling at home was a significant stressor during the COVID-19 pandemic. Research demonstrates emotional burden taking on role teacher while trying to balance responsibilities related work, household, and childcare. Yet little is known about well-being kinship this time, although population heightened risk for stress strain distress. This article shares results focus groups conducted as part larger qualitative study, purpose which understand factors that influenced families pandemic, from perspective child welfare professionals. From these conversations, challenges remote learning emerged prominent theme, particularly raising children with special healthcare needs, who comprised majority sample. Given their pre-pandemic due caregiving responsibilities, most struggled managing child’s learning, working home, caring trauma histories, often limited support access needed services. These findings suggest needs support—potentially in form wrap-around services and/or social safety net provisions—to reduce improve well-being.

Abstract Background The COVID-19 pandemic disrupted the normality of daily life for many children, their families, and schools, resulting in heightened levels anxiety, depression, social isolation, loneliness among young people. An integrated public health model interventions is needed to address problem safeguard mental wellbeing children. Triple P – Positive Parenting Program one system parenting support with a strong evidence-base wide international reach. This study will be first large-scale, multi-site randomised controlled trial newly developed, low-intensity variant P, school-based seminar series, response impacts pandemic. Methods evaluation employ an Incomplete Batched Stepped Wedge Cluster Randomised Trial Design. At least 300 Australian primary from South Australia, Queensland, Victoria recruited three batches. Within each batch, schools randomly assigned either start intervention immediately or six weeks. Introduction: The outbreak of COVID-19 is a global public health emergency with multifaceted consequences for people’s lives and their mental health. Parenting in the time can be demanding as parents find themselves challenging situation young, energetic children locked down within house. People living young reported higher distress compared to general norms. On top worries about physical financial situation, faced several further strains related combining family work life due missing day care options social distancing measures. With increasing feelings anxiety depression pandemic, values perceived stress. Methods: aim study was assess parental stress during Covid-19 pandemic lockdown. Research design adopted descriptive survey design. Non probability convenience sampling technique select 60 school selected Mysuru city. Personal Variable Proforma used personal variables scale Results: results revealed majority 50(83.4%) had moderate only 9(15%) severe covid 19 lockdown, mean score among 40.7 SD ±5.1 also depicted that there no statistical association betweenperceived lockdown except type place residence. Hence null hypothesis partially accepted. Discussion: has substantial health, social, economic effects on families. Consequent lockdowns closures heightened burden school-age children. Many parents, while working from home, restricted access caregiver resources support children's education through homeschooling or remote learning provided by schools.
