ABSTRACT Exploring the child factors that alleviate negative effects of parental psychological control has important practical value. This study aimed to uncover whether perceived social mobility moderates relationships between and children's learning engagement life satisfaction. A total 1725 Chinese children participated in this ( M age = 10.77 years; 53.20% boys). The results showed moderated correlation engagement. For with lower mobility, was negatively related engagement; for higher not correlated Moreover, did moderate relationship These findings suggested is a resilience factor protects from adverse control.
