O preconceito, o estigma e os desafios que compreendem campo da psicologia, podem estar relacionados ao sucesso ou fracasso proposta de cuidado relacionado aos clientes em busca alívio do sofrimento. objetivo presente foi discutir como algumas situações clínicas se mostrar desafiadoras para a pessoa psicoterapeuta promover reflexões sobre lidar com esses desafios. Para proposta, foram destacadas as seguintes situações: infidelidade conjugal, violência psicológica entre parceiros íntimos, tratamento nos transtornos por uso substâncias atendimento afirmativo pessoas LGBTQIA+. Metodologia: Pesquisa bibliográfica exploratória autores das áreas atuação elencadas. Resultados: evidenciou-se técnicas TCC habilidades sociais, utilização psicoeducação, autorregulação resolução conflitos, alguns dos instrumentos utilizados nesse processo psicoterápico mais estratégico. Conclusão: são reconhecidos fatores impactam à saúde cliente, psicoterapeutas possuem lançarem mão melhoria desenvolvimento profissional relação cuidados essas demandas.

Proactive and reactive sibling aggression and their mediating effects on the relationship between exposure to parental violence and adulthood intimate partner violence perpetration

Abstract It is generally understood that individuals who experience exposure to parental violence (EPV) during childhood may come perpetrate violence, but not all will. Research has shown EPV can model maladaptive modes of problem‐solving later be seen in sibling relationships as aggression. This lead a heightened risk adulthood intimate partner perpetration (IPV). study aimed examine the mediating role proactive and reactive aggression associations three forms EPV—violence directed from mother‐to‐father, father‐to‐mother, bidirectional—and sexual physical IPV types adulthood. Participants were 322 emerging adults age range 18–29 years ( M = 24.69, SD 2.91; 182 female) recruited online via Amazon's Mechanical Turk. Findings indicated our sample endorsed bidirectional (41.3%), (87.2%) (94.7%) childhood. In adulthood, they (20.8%) (22.7%). The mediation those had more likely engage aggression, which was associated with engagement IPV, IPV. suggest need for intervention programs
