Abstract Wastewater treatment is designed to eradicate toxic pollutants emanating from the industrial effluent surface and underground water. This research focused on the efficient collection of experimental metal–organic framework (MOF) data from scientific literature to address challenges accessing hard-to-find and improving quality information available for machine learning studies in materials science. Utilizing a chain advanced large language models (LLMs), we developed systematic approach extract organize MOF into structured format. Our methodology successfully compiled more than 40,000 articles, creating comprehensive ready-to-use set.
