Abstract ACETEM (E472a) and CITREM (E472c) are fatty acid esters used as additives in the food industry to improve quality, stability sensory properties of products due their emulsifying, stabilizing properties, antioxidant antimicrobial activities. Herein, we have explored use active plasticizers one most biobased polymers, polylactic (PLA). Initially, different CITREMs (LR10, SP70, RO VEG) (SOFT-NSAFE), with a variety compositions physical states at room temperature, were characterized. The studied demonstrate good thermal moderate properties. Subsequently, PLA films containing 10% tested prepared by melt extrusion posterior compression molding. obtained analyzed characterization techniques evaluate role plasticizers. Raman confocal microscopy showed that SOFT-NSAFE is homogeneously distributed films, whereas form microdomains immiscibility PLA. incorporation these decreases tensile strength, Young’s modulus glass transition temperature. Abstract In this study, a microcrystalline cellulosic biopolymer (MCB) made from Pisum Sativum (green pea) pod waste via modified thermo‐chemical process, and Crotalaria juncea (sunn hemp) fibre was used to create environment‐friendly polyester composites. These eco‐friendly better load‐bearing capabilities could be preferred automated door panels, defence toolboxes, home interior decoration applications.
