Abstract In this study, the activity concentration of artificial and natural radionuclides such as 137 Cs, 40 K, 226 Ra, 232 Th was measured in soil under roots; leaves; fruits six different fruit trees namely mulberry, fig, apricot, olive, black white grapes Koya district, Erbil province, Iraq. For purpose, a high-resolution gamma spectroscopy consisting high-purity germanium (HPGe) detector used. addition, associated radiological risks from were assessed by calculating several indices radium equivalent (Raeq.s), absorbed dose (Ds), indoor ( AEDEs ) outdoor annual effective doses ), internal external hazard indices, index excess lifetime cancer risk (ELRCs). The results show that consuming these is radiologically safe because they can cause an about 61.72 μSv y −1 0.06 × 10 −3 Sv . On other hand, transfer factors to studied. factor analysis revealed among studied radionuclides, apricot mulberry exhibited highest for with values 1.85 1.87, respectively.

Objectives Model prediction of radioactivity levels around nuclear facilities is a useful tool for assessing human health risks and environmental impacts. We aim to develop model forecasting in the environment food world’s first AP 1000 power unit. Methods In this work, we report pilot study using time-series monitoring data establish Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA) models predicting levels. The were screened by Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), accuracy was evaluated mean absolute percentage error (MAPE). Results optimal models, ARIMA (0, 0, 0) × 1, 1) 4 , (4, used predict activity concentrations 90 Sr cumulative ambient dose (CAD), respectively. From quarter (Q1) fourth (Q4) 2023, predicted values CAD 0.067–0.77 Bq/kg, 0.055–0.133 mSv, results good agreement with observation values, MAPEs 21.4 22.4%, Q1 Q4 2024, Bq/kg 0.067–0.129 respectively, which comparable reported elsewhere. Conclusion developed showed short-term predictability, can be dynamic analysis Sanmen Nuclear Power Plant.

An Integrated Autoregressive Moving Average (ARIMA) - Monte Carlo Simulation (MCS) is proposed to analyze and model the anomalies of atmospheric ground gases by an earthquake along North Anatolian Fault Zone (Türkiye). Earthquakes, Soil radon gas Total Electron Content (TEC) showed simultaneous anomalies. There are positive relationships between these three parameters. Also, relations Rn, meteorology, atmosphere detected. The ARIMA MCS for Rn-TEC-Earthquake measured data gave statistically significant results. This simulation changes in effects microearthquakes, which more difficult detect than large earthquakes, especially on ionospheric TEC.
