As global cities rapidly develop, the realization of sustainable urban development has become a pressing concern. critical component built environment, green spaces are essential for maintaining sustainability ecosystems by offering variety ecological benefits. However, there some problems in design and construction framework, which often disregard real needs residents hinder areas. Therefore, planning that takes into account supply demand relationship space is considered to be key technology should help improve residents’ happiness promote development. This paper Zunyi City as an example; selects six indicators; combines UAV images, population, economic, environmental data evaluate ecosystem services valuation existing city; analyzes its social needs. Affected land utilization density, value showed low spatial density characteristics central area high distribution surrounding area. The correlation between population largest, pattern similar density. supply-demand ratio study −0.54, indicating severe imbalance demand. analysis comprehensive each influencing factor shows with largest. combination maps addresses major problem planning, namely, ensuring communities have priority providing based on society’s need services. In addition, these will develop best planting plans meet specific different communities. Taken together, findings can city planners decision makers layout areas, increase service potential, quality sustainability.

Clarifying how to systematically manage ecosystem services is crucial for addressing urban-rural conflicts and promoting sustainable development, while service optimization offers an effective approach. The coupling coordination relationship between ecosystem services supply–demand and human well-being in arid inland regions is increasingly vulnerable to imbalance risks under the combined pressures of climate change intensified anthropogenic activities. Here, we assessed dynamic changes supply–demand, well-being, their relationships influencing factors Hexi Regions by integrating remote sensing data, ecological model, ratio (ESDR), degree (CCD) partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Our results showed that six key supply, demand, ESDR from 1990 2020 exhibited greater surplus Qilian Mountains stronger deficits urban surrounding areas Corridor. deficit water yield accounted for 32% Corridor with large cropland irrigated, four times Mountains, indicating a serious mismatch space time. Although the theory of ecosystem services (ESs) is important for guiding land-use planning, knowledge ESs trade-offs and supply–demand mechanisms still lacking, characteristics correlation between size balance supply demand along precipitation gradient have not yet been clarified. In order to supplement this area ESs, we selected 30 small watersheds in high-, medium- low-precipitation areas as study units. A biophysical model socio-economic data were used calculate carbon sequestration, soil conservation water yield. Redundancy analysis regression trade-offs, dynamics, their correlation. The results follows. (1) three trade-off sequestration yield trended downwards from high-precipitation medium-precipitation area. (2) primary factors influencing with regard population density organic-matter content, conditional effects greater than 53%. dominant factor affecting was slope gradient, effect 40%. most significant determinants grassland area, forest precipitation, 22%. (3) forest, content density, all 45%; 24%. (4) relationship often followed a quadratic function; next-most-common monotonous nonlinear response, linear response relatively rare. This revealed correlations different degrees which provided new idea synchronous regulation context conflicts imbalance.

Amid the rapid socio-economic development of urban fringe areas, promoting multi-functional supply ecosystems and sustainable is essential. Taking Jiangning District in Nanjing as a case study, this study explores relationships spatial clustering characteristics among various ecosystem service values focusing on trade-offs between ecological social values. Ecological functional zones were delineated based results regional conjugation principles, followed by an analysis synergies within each zone. The findings reveal following: (1) are prevalent across entire region, well sub-regions areas; (2) can be divided into five key zones—the Vibrant Industry-Urbanization Integration Zone, Important Habitat Conservation Livable Organic Renewal Characteristic Rural Landscape Development Riparian Recreation Zone. Each zone exhibits significant differences types features services provided; (3) understanding may help to resolve them. This progressive trade-off analysis, from sub-regional level, enables more precise identification functions, providing reference for decision-making enhance overall value guide planning management practices areas.
