Chrysophanol, naturally occurring anthraquinone compound, has demonstrated significant potential in cancer treatment due its diverse biological activities. Patients with advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) are not sensitive to sorafenib (SOR), therefore, combination therapy is required. In this study, an improved thin-film dispersion and post-insertion anchoring technique was utilized construct a dual-targeted co-delivery SOR docetaxel (DTX) liposome drug delivery system, folate/chondroitin sulfate SOR/DTX-modified liposomes (FA/CS@SDLP), jointly enhance the anti-recurrence metastasis of HCC. FA/CS@SDLP can establish gradual release two drugs because successful lysosomal escape in condensed hyaluronidase environment. The results indicated that modification folate (FA) chondroitin (CS) significantly enhanced cellular uptake internalization SOR/DTX HepG2 cells through FA CD44 receptor-mediated endocytosis. Compared free or mono-targeted liposomal system (FA@SDLP), presented higher potency against regarding pro-apoptosis, anti-proliferation, anti-metastasis (migration invasion). Background/Objectives: Averrhoa carambola, or star fruit, is a shrub known for its medicinal properties, especially due to bioactive metabolites identified in roots and fruit with anti-cancer activity. However, the biological effects of leaves remain unexplored. This study aimed assess ethanolic extract from A. carambola on triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), an aggressive subtype lacking specific therapy. Methods: Phytochemical analysis HPLC profile additional cell line evaluation employing MDA-MB-231 were carried out. Results: screening revealed that was rich flavonoids, saponins, steroids, demonstrating antioxidant capacity 45%. 1H NMR indicated presence terpenes, glycoside-like compounds. Cell viability assays showed concentration-dependent decrease viability, IC50 value 20.89 μg/mL at 48 h. Clonogenic significant inhibition replicative immortality, only 2.63% survival 15 μg/mL. Background: Infantile fibrosarcoma (IFS) is the most prevalent soft tissue sarcoma in children under 1 year old and known for its rapid growth.
