Background: Falls among the elderly present significant physical, psychological, and economic challenges. Fall prevention strategies, such as balance muscle strengthening exercises, are essential but often require long-term commitment. This study explores potential of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) an adjunct to training enhance physical performance in elderly. Method: A randomized, double-blind, sham-controlled design was employed compare with active or sham tDCS. Participants underwent baseline assessments, followed by a six-week intervention period. The protocol consisted 2 mA, 20 min anodal tDCS over left primary motor cortex, three times weekly. Post-intervention assessments were conducted few days after follow-up at 4 weeks. Results: Following 18 sessions combined exercise training, no group differences observed for Time Up Go, One-Leg Standing, lower-limb strength, 6 walk test (6MWT), although both control groups demonstrated improvements time. × time interaction found only 6MWT, participants exhibiting greater 6MWT compared controls. Conclusions: Anodal selectively enhanced endurance did not confer additional benefits balance, gait, leg strength healthy older adults. These findings suggest that may serve promising improving endurance-related outcomes aging populations. Control various variables is necessary.

Abstract Adolescent antisocial behavior not only has an adverse effect on the healthy development of adolescents but also poses a threat to social order and public safety. The study included 18,470 high school students during 2020–2023 year as participants. Random forest was used assess importance influencing factors, binary logistic regression analysis conducted top eight identified factors. The participants, consisting 8,867 boys 9,603 girls. results showed that parents' educational expectations (boys: OR = 0.942, girls: 0.903) smoking 1.055, 1.066) were common factors affecting in both boy girl adolescents. number good friends (OR 1.122), current place residence 1.039), engage regular physical activity 0.916) specific for adolescents' behavior, while family economic conditions 1.092) factor behavior. showcases Forest Model Logistic can effectively identify analyze model performance is good. their effects show gender differences. Therefore, we should formulate targeted prevention improvement measures anti-social behaviors.

Cognitive dysfunction is a common and debilitating complication following ischemic stroke, significantly impairing the quality of life patients. In recent years, aerobic exercise has emerged as promising non-pharmacological intervention to mitigate post-stroke cognitive impairment (PSCI). This review synthesizes current evidence on efficacy mechanisms in enhancing recovery after stroke. Key include improved cerebral hemodynamics through enhanced blood flow (CBF), promotion neuroplasticity via brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF)-mediated pathways, suppression neuroinflammation (e.g., NLRP3 inflammasome inhibition), attenuation oxidative stress. Preclinical clinical studies demonstrate that modalities such gait training, cycling, aquatic therapy enhance domains including memory, executive function, attention, with optimal benefits observed at moderate-to-high intensity frequency ≥3 sessions per week. Despite robust evidence, challenges remain standardizing protocols addressing individual variability treatment response. Future research should prioritize large-scale randomized controlled trials validate long-term identify biomarkers for personalized rehabilitation strategies. underscores imperative integrate into paradigms, offering dual therapeutic approach improve both physical outcomes.
