Internet of Things (IoT) enabled wireless body area network (WBAN) is a novel technology that combines medical, wireless, and non-medical devices for healthcare management applications. Indoor institutions, such as hospitals, may employ IoT to manage medical equipment, maintain inventory, monitor patients. In addition monitoring temperature, humidity, air quality, sensors help prevent the spread sickness. The data generated by small sensor need strong security methods secure transmission over public network. Security sent from source destination handled transport layer (TLS) protocol message loss or reordering. most difficult component TLS determining how handle reliability. Low-power networks Datagram Transport Layer (DTLS) solve this problem. But if Server exposed malicious attack (i.e., flooded with ClientHello messages, DTLS no longer serve purpose) it lead Denial-of-Service (DoS). paper proposes an intelligent gateway-based verification approval system protect health wearable devices, key worldwide risk. Paper used Contiki Network Simulator designing advanced smart constrained application Improved (CoAP I-DTLS) protocol. To assess effectiveness proposed work, packet ratio computed CoAP, CoAP-DTLS, CoAP I-DTLS protocols. improved I-DTLS, calculations are also made transfer handshake time. will look at ways increase integrating Secure Hash Algorithm (SHA-256) utilizing Certificate Authority (CA) improvements. Evaluation parameters Packet ratio, Data time, Energy consumption average considered detailed simulation results have been presented.
