Abstract Brain radiation can occur from treatment of brain tumors or accidental exposures. has been rarely considered, though, as a possible tool to alter protein levels involved in neurodegenerative disorders. We analyzed molecular and neuropathology changes phosphorylated-Tau (pTau), all-Tau forms, β -tubulin, amyloid precursor (APP), glial fibrillary acidic (GFAP), ionized calcium binding adaptor molecule 1 (IBA-1), myelin basic (MBP), GAP43 Frontal Cortex (FC), Hippocampus (H) Cerebellum (CRB) swine brains following total-body low-dose (1.79 Gy). Our data show that radiated-animals had lower pTau FC H, APP H CRB, higher level GFAP versus sham-animals. Abstract This study investigates whether a chronotherapeutic treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) may improve efficacy and mitigate side effects on non‐tumoral liver (NTL). Worsening lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) are a frequent adverse event following proton beam therapy (PBT) for localized prostate cancer. We investigated the differences in worsening LUTS among patients who received PBT at different times of day.Among 173 underwent cancer, 168 (median age 68.5 years) completed international symptom score (IPSS) questionnaires and were included. Changes IPSS from baseline to end assessed by multiple linear regression analysis age, National Comprehensive Cancer Network risk classification, androgen deprivation therapy, fractional dose, clinical target volume, severity IPSS, diabetes, medication use before PBT, anti-coagulant radiation time day (morning (08:30-10:30), around noon (10:31-14:30), late afternoon (14:31-16:30)).IPSS total IPSS-Quality Life (QoL) (12 excluded due missing IPSS-QoL score) increased eight 14.9 (p < 0.0001) two four 0.0001), respectively. Time (morning) was only determinant (β = -0.24, p 0.01), voiding subscore -0.22, 0.05) -0.27, 0.005), item (urgency) -0.28, 0.005) with 0.19, 0.05).Morning cancer significantly ameliorated improved QoL compared treatment or afternoon. The circadian clock modulates almost all vital aspects of our physiology and metabolism, including processes relevant to dentistry, such as healing, inflammation nociception. Chronotherapy is an emerging field aiming improve therapeutic efficacy decrease adverse effects on health outcomes. This scoping review aimed systematically map the evidence underpinning chronotherapy in dentistry identify gaps knowledge. We conducted a systematic search using four databases (Medline, Scopus, CINAHL Embase). identified 3908 target articles screened by two blinded reviewers, only original animal human studies investigating chronotherapeutic use drugs or interventions were included. Of 24 included, 19 five studies. Chrono-radiotherapy chrono-chemotherapy reduced treatment side improved response, leading higher survival rates cancer patients. Animal reported that tooth movement periodontal tissue response orthodontic forces follow diurnal rhythm might influence bone metabolism. Profound prolonged local anesthesia could be achieved when injected evening. Although overall quality included was low, applications seem have favourable outcomes, especially head neck treatments.
