Background/Objectives: Considering the antioxidant and antimicrobial properties attributed to compounds in Syzygium cumini extract, this research aimed advance postoperative therapeutic innovations. Specifically, study assessed physicochemical of a film-forming solution (FFS) incorporated with S. cumini, evaluating its potential for applications. Methods: The extract was meticulously characterized determine chemical composition, particular emphasis on concentration phenolic compounds. Antioxidant assays were conducted assess extract’s efficacy these domains. Following this, an FFS containing formulated evaluated comprehensively skin adhesion, mechanical barrier properties, thermal behavior. Results: activities demonstrated promising results, indicating utility as adjunct care. developed exhibited favorable topical application, including adequate adhesion appropriate pH levels. Moreover, analyses confirmed formulation’s stability retention beneficial properties. Conclusions: Overall, findings suggest that cumini-loaded holds significant valuable tool post-surgical management.
