Electric scooters (e-scooters) have changed urban mobility by offering a dynamic solution to the critical "first and last mile" problem, connecting individuals from their homes public transport final destinations. Despite growing popularity, e-scooters navigate through landscape of shifting legal frameworks, highlighting urgency for policies that not only harness potential but also address inherent challenges. This study aims shed light on intermodal practices demographics users in Barcelona, explores impacts regulatory changes established habits, assesses adaptability changing transportation options. Through self-reported survey 311 private e-scooter users, we find notable prevalence young men lower socioeconomic backgrounds engaging travel, primarily employment purposes. To better understand how riders integrate device daily strategies, introduce Intermodality Ratio (IR). A Generalized Linear Model (GLM) is then used identify key demographic, socioeconomic, geographic predictors IR, revealing place residence as most significant factor influencing behavior. Finally, analyze participants' anticipated behavioral shifts response upcoming ban using Multinomial Logistic Regression (MLR) model, which sociodemographic factors affecting likelihood adopting alternative strategies. These findings contribute limited understanding utilization practices, particularly within context transit, insights into can more effectively accommodate emerging solutions.
