Introduction This research investigates the complex interplay of factors influencing teacher emotional exhaustion within educational environment. It draws upon a diverse sample 680 teachers from 15 primary institutions in various districts Shanghai, China. Methods The study examines interrelationships among teacher-student relationships, perceived autonomy, teaching motivation, and exhaustion. employs validated scales to measure these constructs utilizes Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) for analysis. Results analyses using SEM reveal significant associations variables under study. findings indicate robust correlations between positive higher motivation. EFL teachers’ perceptions of emotional exhaustion and associated regulation strategies: a phenomenological analysis DOI

Teaching, particularly in a second/foreign language (L2) context, is an emotionally demanding profession, often leading to negative outcomes for educators. To fill the gap, this phenomenological study examined causes, consequences, and regulation strategies of Chinese EFL teachers' emotional exhaustion. A semi-structured interview was held with 58 teachers. The results thematic analysis revealed that state had different causes consequences. most frequent were 'occupational pressures', 'identity conflicts mismatches', 'stressful classroom climate', 'high expectations', 'students' poor performance cooperation'. Using a questionnaire survey methodology, this study examined associations among elementary school teachers' perceptions of their emotional competence, positive social learning beliefs, burnout perceptions, and the quality relationships with students. Participants were 120 teachers (88 females 32 males) recruited from 15 Greek schools. Results demonstrated that competence personal achievement both positively associated students as close. Abstract Global concerns about low levels of teacher job satisfaction (JS) have brought the significance understanding factors and mechanisms that contribute to this issue. In educational research, role emotional intelligence (EI), a critical personal resource, in relation teachers' JS has emerged as an important topic. Utilizing Job Demands‐Resources model, present study proposed chain mediation model explore relationship between EI their JS. Researchers studying educational leadership theory tend to examine positive behaviors and their outcomes far more frequently than opposite. Such a lopsided approach, while admirable in its intent, has undermined efforts identify excise the continuation of poor attributes currently extant. This study aims address latter issue by investigating how, under what conditions, school principal's self-centered style contributes proliferation teacher emotional exhaustion amongst faculty. Data collected from 855 teachers 72 Kuwaiti public schools were analyzed via regression analysis bootstrapping tests evaluate moderated mediation model effects on exhaustion; diffident silence acted as mediator, ambivalent identification served moderator. There is substantial research supporting the role of workplace atmospheres in English-as-a Foreign-Language (EFL) teachers’ emotions and classroom practices. However, degree to which (if any) climate may affect specific emotional exhaustion and/or job attrition has not been addressed. To fill this gap, qualitative study, we used a semi-structured interview with 39 Chinese EFL teachers various backgrounds better understand its relationship attrition, including perceptions causative factors these relationships. Thematic analysis revealed claims that both were prevented by positive climate. context negative climates, participants believed variables might be worsened.
