Abstract In this paper we propose a novel approach for face anti-spoofing called Extended Division Directional Ternary Co-relation Pattern (EDDTCP). The EDDTCP encodes co-relation of ternary edges based on the centre pixel gray values with its immediate directional neighbour and next average neighbour, which is calculated by using cornered neighbours neighbours. proposed method robust against presentation attacks extracting spatial information in all directions. Three Experiments were performed four texture descriptors (LBP, LTP, LGS EDDTCP) results are compared. performs better than LBP, LTP LGS.

The energy used by cloud data centers (CDCs) to support large volumes of storage and computation is dramatically increasing as the scope services continues expand. This puts a greater burden on environment results in higher expenses for providers. Virtualization migration consolidation have been widely current CDCs achieve ser-vice reduce consumption (EC). study divides fundamental tasks virtual machine (VM) into three portions: determining timing, choosing VMs migrate out, selecting destination hosts. An EC levels-based adaptive dynamic threshold method timing was proposed, well correlation utilization-based strategy out an improved EC-aware best-fit algorithm pro-posed algorithms were evaluated using CloudSim toolbox, real VM workload traces from PlanetLab experimental data. According experiments, proposed EC, service level agreement violation (SLAV), number migrations average 15.49%, 7.85%, 83.32% comparison related state-of-the-art methods benchmark algorithms. suggests that outperform other techniques migration, even when necessitates significant or amount host resources, improve quality while optimizing consumption. However, experiments conducted simulation platform, which has some drawbacks, leading varying slightly actual environment.

Abstract With the advent of Internet Things (IoT) paradigm, cloud model is unable to offer satisfactory services for latency‐sensitive and real‐time applications due high latency scalability issues. Hence, an emerging computing paradigm named as fog/edge was evolved, close data source optimize quality (QoS) parameters such latency, scalability, reliability, energy, privacy, security data. This article presents evolution in from client‐server edge along with their objectives limitations. A state‐of‐the‐art review Cloud Computing (CoT) presented that addressed techniques, constraints, limitations, research challenges. Further, we have discussed role mechanism Fog (FoT), necessitating amalgamation CoT. We reviewed several architecture, features, applications, existing challenges computing. The comprehensive survey these paradigms offers depth knowledge about various aspects, trends, motivation, vision, integrated architectures.
