This research investigates the operational and maintenance strategies aimed at improving boiler combustion efficiency PT Indonesia Power UJP Banten 1 Suralaya, with an emphasis on integration of Portable Temperature Measurement System (PTMS) Distributed Control (DCS). The objectives encompass comprehending workflow power plant systems, role PTMS in monitoring temperatures, facilitated by PTMS, tackling challenges such as slagging temperature deviations. Data were collected through direct observation operations analyzed using Rodin III software, employing a quantitative methodology. Parameters including (DCS) data, specific fuel consumption (SFC), coal flow, air steam flow pressure, superheater (SH) reheater (RH) ratio served benchmarks. Measurements from layers (TOP, LT8, SOFA, CCOFA, G, EF, CD, AB) offered insights into distribution. findings demonstrate that DCS improves accuracy, facilitating precise adjustments to enhance efficiency. Adjustments secondary damper minimized variations, addressed problems, reinstated sighthole functionality, observed CCOFA5, thorough data collection. Regular components pulverizers analysis byproducts ensured uniform distribution reliability. integrated approach enhances efficiency, decreases emissions, mitigates environmental impact. study highlights significance advanced tools proactive for sustainable reliable generation, providing framework analogous systems aiming improved performance energy sustainability.

One of the approaches to limit negative impact on environment from burning coal in production heat and electricity is their use by blending them with biomass. Blended fuel combustion leads generation a solid ash residue differing composition ash, opportunities for its utilization have not yet been studied. The present paper provides results carbon capture potential adsorbents developed through alkaline conversion mixtures lignite biomass agricultural plants wood. raw materials obtained were studied respect following: chemical phase based Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy Inductively Coupled Plasma (AAS-ICP) X-ray powder diffraction (XRD), respectively, morphology scanning electron spectroscopy (SEM), thermal properties analysis (TG DTG), surface parameters N2 physisorption, type metal oxides within temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) UV-VIS spectroscopy. adsorption capacity toward CO2 was dynamic conditions compared those zeolite-like ash. It observed that blended comparable fly zeolites despite lower specific areas due compositional specifics they could be successfully applied as post-combustion systems.

To study the co-combustion characteristics of coal and Salix, thermogravimetric analysis is adopted to evaluate their performance. The effect blending ratios synergistic are investigated in detail. Furthermore, kinetic performed. results show that incorporation Salix into enhances combustion performance, with significant improvements observed at higher ratios. ignition temperature decreases notably from 444 °C 393 °C, highlighting an improvement properties. primary weight loss peak shifts 490 a 15% biomass blend approximately 320 100% blend. Co-combustion demonstrates effects, optimizing between 400 530 while 30% inhibits it. Additionally, temperatures above 600 exhibit inhibitory effect. activation energy reduced 25.38 kJ mol−1 ratio further 23.06 heating rate 30 K min−1. Increasing lowers energy, which means facilitating reaction process.
