Halophilic
bacteria
are
promising
candidates
for
biofuel
production
because
of
their
efficient
cellulose
degradation.
Their
cellulases
exhibit
high
activity,
even
in
the
presence

and
under
extreme
conditions,

them
ideal
biorefinery
applications.

a
strain
Halomonas
elongata
(Kadal6)
from
decomposed
cotton
cloth

Rameshwaram
