Vernonia greggii belongs to the Asteraceae family, and some members of this family have been reported possess anticancer properties. This study evaluated antiproliferative effect V. methanol extract (ME), both in its free form encapsulated into poly(lactic-co-glycolide) (PLGA) nanoparticles (NPs), on human cervical cancer cells (HeLa) epidermal keratinocytes (HaCaT). The was subsequently sub-fractionated n-hexane (F-He), (F-Me), distilled water (F-Ac) fractions, their effects were assessed. Time-dependent toxicity HeLa observed for free-form with F-Me fraction showing highest efficacy compared others. Additionally, an NP formulation based PLGA (NPs F-Me) developed, achieving 64.21% encapsulation efficiency 11.38% drug loading. NPs had average size 146.9 nm, a polydispersity index (PDI) 0.103, ζ-potential 23.3 mV. tested HaCaT cells, at concentrations 300 500 μg/mL, affecting tumor cell morphology. Furthermore, hemolytic activity evaluated. major bioactive compounds identified using Liquid Chromatography–Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS). These findings suggest that exerts antineoplastic when nanoparticles.

ABSTRACT Electrochemical synthesis and characterization of Zn‐alginate hydrogel films their antioxidant antimicrobial activity are evaluated. Swelling properties, zinc concentration spectroscopic morphological features were characterized related to activity. These results indicate a dependence swelling on the degree cross‐linking, which, in turn, can be adjusted by manipulating time, initial alginate and/or leaching. Hydrogel with showed remarkable antibacterial especially against gram‐positive bacteria. The absence Zn resulted less inhibition strains, although it had positive effect gram‐negative which was attributed degradation chains , affecting cell metabolism. Nitrogen‐doped samples synthesized rivanol‐containing solution exhibited globular morphology higher electrochemical enables facile preparation highly active hydrogels for biomedical applications.

ABSTRACT Synthesis of ZIF‐8 mainly uses zinc nitrate hexahydrate (Zn(NO 3 ) 2 .6H O) as the source. Zn (NO O is flammable, explosive, and highly corrosive, posing a threat to human health. It also requires molar ratio 2‐methylimidazole source greater than 20, resulting in increased costs. In this work, pH‐sensitive controlled‐release nano‐capsule fungicide, ZIF‐8@Boscalid, was established using green sources (zinc sulfate acetate) prepared based on metal–organic framework (ZIF‐8) for higher antifungal effect low bio‐toxicity. The loading high 34%. addition, release fungicide Boscalid showed response due weak acidic group ZIF structure, which rate more rapid under acid condition (< 5). Cumulative rates ZIF‐8(A)@Boscalid system ZIF‐8(S)@Boscalid were 76.15% 86.22%, respectively. Meanwhile, ZIF‐8@Boscalid 1.5 times that commercially available product CI‐8 at concentration 300 mg/L, antibacterial activity values against CJ‐8 84.54% 78.65%, Furthermore, obtained method described article exhibited certain UV resistance. Thus, work not only proves could be used nanoparticles platform smart control over but has great potential effective utilization achieving sustained release.
