A wireless sensor network (WSN) is a consisting of self-governing sensors that are deployed in space and communicate with each other using technology to monitor physical or environmental variables. These networks generally include compact, inexpensive nodes equipped sensing, processing, communication functionalities. WSNs specifically engineered gather data from their immediate environment, do local subsequently pertinent information either central hub interconnected within the network. Continuous research domain devoted advancing security concerns, developing novel sensing technologies, optimizing protocols. The advancements these domains enhance ongoing development efficiency WSNs. very important for getting real world many situations. flexible tools keeping an eye on controlling different environments because they have nodes, communication, distributed processing. use network-on-chip (NoC) architecture connect nodes. article explains introduction WSN, background motivation, ZigBee protocol, WSN applications.
