Indoor
air
pollution
(IAP)
is
a
serious
threat
to
human
health,
causing
millions
of
deaths
each
year.
A

pollutants
can
result

IAP;
therefore,
it

important
identify
their
main
sources
and
concentrations

strategies
for
the
control
enhancement
indoor
quality
(IAQ).
Herein,
we
provide
critical
review
evaluation
major
pollutant
emissions,
health
effects,
issues
related
IAP-based
illnesses,
including
sick
building
syndrome
(SBS)
building-related
illness
(BRI).
In
addition,
approaches
reduction
are
pointed
out,
recent
trends
efforts
resolve
improve
IAQ,
with
respective
advantages
potentials,
summarized.
