Abstract This paper evaluates the impact of electricity consumption from renewable and nonrenewable sources on load capacity factor for BRICS-T nations using data 1990 to 2018. The used linear nonlinear autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) approaches explore these associations. results Westerlund co-integration show long-run between independent variables. that energy human capital contribute sustainability environment, while consumption, economic growth, industrialization impede environmental sustainability. Similarly, effect LCF shows interesting findings. positive (negative) shift in increases ecological nations. Furthermore, Dumitrescu Hurlin panel causality gives credence both ARDL results. study suggests policy recommendations based

The global warming phenomenon emerges from the issue of climate change, which attracts attention intellectuals towards clean energy sources dirty sources. Among sources, nuclear is getting immense among policymakers. However, role in pollution emissions reduction has remained inconclusive and demand for further investigation. Therefore, current study contributes to extend knowledge by investigating nexus between energy, economic growth, CO2 a developing country context such as Pakistan period 1973 2017. auto-regressive distributive lag model summarizes negative effect on environmental it releases carbon emission environment. Moreover, vector error correction Granger causality provides evidence bidirectional emissions. These interesting findings provide new insight, policy guidelines provided based these results.

This study analyzes the effects of increased income and renewable energy on environmental quality, which has been ignored in existing literature. An important contribution this is to analyze role nonrenewable relation rising level carbon emissions leading emitting countries. research further examines heterogeneous impacts levels EKC investigation for CO2 emissions. The Kao cointegration, generalized method moments (GMM), random effects, fixed effect (FE) regression models, panel causality techniques are employed data estimations. empirical outcomes mention that an increase moderates ratio consumption Increased contributes more mix, pollution, through energy. reports policy-relevant critical masses beyond negatively affects link between
