Global warming has become a major concern for countries around the world. In this context, developed have decided to reduce global emissions achieve sustainable development. The energy mix of OECD consists 80% fossil fuels and accounts about 35% worldwide carbon emissions. Therefore, it is important analyze how environmental factors affect in countries. This study uses energy, renewable (RE), GDP period 1990–2019. Unlike previous studies, we will estimate two separate models FFE RE. To evaluate empirical results, advanced panel data estimation methods using cointegration test CS-ARDL technique are employed examine long-run relationship between variables. results demonstrate that fuel use increase both short long term. However, RE hurts associated with development assumed although degrades environment, economic growth helps by reducing Overall, our shows essential their sustainability goals because reduces share overall mix. Furthermore, order recommended begin long-term planning

With 2.5 global hectares (gha) per capita against 2.7 gha capita, China's ecological footprint is desirably below the world's average capita. Undesirably, country's person outweighs biocapacity of 1.7 gha, thus signifying an enormous pressure on capacity. This reason accounts for motivation to explore dynamics China over period 1971–2016 by employing a series empirical techniques that include quantile-on-quantile regression (QQR), spectral Granger causality (SGC), and quantile regression. Indicatively, findings are in folds. First, from QQR, economic growth exerts positive effect (i) especially middle (0.4–0.7) (ii) all quantiles (0.01–0.95) growth. Second, both fossil fuel primary energy utilization exert impact two profiles. Third, it surprising see renewable exerting at lower tail (0.1–0.40) use higher (0.70–0.95). Additionally, SGC result revealed long-run without reverse. reverse, there short-, medium-, long-term. Importantly, overall policy implication suggests more drastic decoupling supply side (ecological environmental deprivation).

The association between economic complexity (sophisticated structure) and carbon emissions has major implications for environmental sustainability. In addition, globalization can be an important tool attaining sustainability it may also moderate the emissions. Thus, this research examines effects of complexity, growth, renewable energy, on CO 2 in top 10 energy transition economies where have greatly increased over last 3 decades. Furthermore, study evaluates joint effect Keeping view presence slope heterogeneity cross-sectional dependence data, utilized second-generation unit root tests (CIPS CADF), Westerlund cointegration approach, CS-ARDL CCEMG long-run estimators period 1990–2018. results affirmed among considered variable. Long-run findings revealed that globalization, decrease Conversely, growth increases Moreover, impact stimulates Based these findings, government groups should continue to expand usage energy. They promote interaction with rest world by adopting policy opening up.

There is a growing utilisation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the recent digital era. Trade tourism have also attained attention as determinants environmental sustainability. Therefore, this study investigates linkages between ICT, tourism, trade, economic growth, sustainability BRICS economies. Advanced panel estimation entitled cross-sectionally augmented autoregressive distributed lags (CS-ARDL) was applied from 1990 to 2019. Findings suggest adverse effect growth factors on sustainability, whereas ICT helps promote sustainable environment among targeted Likewise, short-run results prove that are prone ecological health, while trade possesses an insignificant influence These integration sectors mitigate their negative consequences.
