Abstract
Heterogeneous
photocatalysis
plays
a
vital
character
in
the
degradation
of
organic
dyes
and
their
by-products,
which
pose
threat
to
aquatic
terrestrial
life
if
discharged
wastewater.
Herein,
we
developed
one-pot
synthesis
method
for
producing
cobalt-ferrite
(CoFe
2
O
4
)
nickel-ferrite
(NiFe
nanoparticles
via
co-precipitation
technique.
Then
prepared
five
different
nanocomposite
beads,
including
chitosan
Chi-CoFe
-1
,
-2
Chi-NiFe
an
aqueous
acidic
system.
All
beads
were
structurally
characterized
by
Scanning
Electron
Microscope,
X-ray
Diffraction,
Fourier
Transform
Infrared
Spectroscopy
analysis.
Further,
as-prepared
utilized
photo-degradation
Eriochrome
black
T,
(EBT)
Congo
red
(CR)
dyes.
The
outcomes
demonstrated
that,
after
110
min
visible
light
illumination,
maximum
EBT
dye
reached
93%.
While
CR
92%
within
90
.

Abstract
Recently,
the
removal
of
tetracycline,
a
toxic
material,
from
aquatic
medium
has
been
trending
subject
research.
Several
different
technologies
including
adsorption,
biological
method,
solvent
extraction,
coagulation,
chemical
reduction,
photocatalysis
and
ion
exchange
method
for
tetracyclines
wastewater
have
reported.
However,

huge
interest
because
more
efficient
mineralization
TC
into
CO
2
water.

reviewed
