Abstract Heterogeneous photocatalysis plays a vital character in the degradation of organic dyes and their by-products, which pose threat to aquatic terrestrial life if discharged wastewater. Herein, we developed one-pot synthesis method for producing cobalt-ferrite (CoFe 2 O 4 ) nickel-ferrite (NiFe nanoparticles via co-precipitation technique. Then prepared five different nanocomposite beads, including chitosan Chi-CoFe -1 , -2 Chi-NiFe an aqueous acidic system. All beads were structurally characterized by Scanning Electron Microscope, X-ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy analysis. Further, as-prepared utilized photo-degradation Eriochrome black T, (EBT) Congo red (CR) dyes. The outcomes demonstrated that, after 110 min visible light illumination, maximum EBT dye reached 93%. While CR 92% within 90 . corresponding turnover frequencies 1257.5 kg − 1 /sec, 1287 1318.18 1363 1393 respectively. Furthermore, numbers 2.26x10^7 Kg 2.3×10×7 2.37×10×7 2.45×10×7 2.5x10×7 /sec Chitosan Chi/CoFe Chi/NiFe Based on findings, it can be concluded that engineered have significant potential visible-light-driven catalytic remediation hazardous These results also suggest there is need further research photocatalytic abatement contaminants.

Abstract Recently, the removal of tetracycline, a toxic material, from aquatic medium has been trending subject research.
