This study introduces a new method for producing Pd-Au/BC nanocomposite, suitable photocatalysis and photoelectrode applications, with enhanced visible light activity. Characterization of the nanocomposite was conducted using UV/Vis spectroscopy, FTIR, XRD, SEM, XPS, BET analyses. Cyclic voltammetry revealed specific capacitance 690F g−1, 290F 190F 150F g−1 at current densities ranging from 0.2 mV to 0.5 mV. The reduction oxidation peaks were observed during cyclic voltammetry, indicating electrochemical behavior nanocomposite. In initial scan, noticeable peak around 0.13 V. cycles 2 3, two anodic emerged 0.20 0.29 Photocatalytic experiments demonstrated nanocomposite's efficacy in degrading Congo red under irradiation. uniform contour curve is notable, signifying continued functionality supercapacitors up voltage threshold 0.72 When effective window expanded 0.00 V 0.46 density A it results nonlinear symmetric charge discharge profiles. process generated hydroxyl radicals (OH), aiding pollutant breakdown. Anodic appeared potentials 0.18 V, 0.52 0.86 electrocatalytic activity enhancement attributed suppression electron-hole recombination, extending responsiveness light. Overall, synthesized exhibits promising applications both processes.
