The purpose of this research is to investigate the implications policy uncertainty on sectoral GHG emissions in Saudi Arabia. performs a battery advanced quantile-based methodologies, namely quantile unit root test (QAR), causality-in-quantiles (CiQ) test, and Quantile-on-Quantile regression (QQR) as reference model, while (QR) carried out check robustness findings. results CiQ indicate statistically significant causal relationship at different quantiles between emissions, with particular emphasis industrial transportation sectors. On other hand, QQR suggests that effects exhibit asymmetry are contingent upon both order economic sector. Furthermore, increases all sectors, exception agriculture. particularly demonstrate when low, it can increase environmental deterioration by raising especially sectors higher levels pollution. Finally, repercussions stemming from more conspicuous analysis provide empirical support for QQR. findings offer recommendations policymakers.

Abstract This study investigates the asymmetric relationship between global and national factors domestic food prices in Turkey, considering recent rapid continuous increase prices. In this context, six three explanatory variables were included, monthly data for period from January 2004 to June 2021 used. addition, novel nonlinear time-series econometric approaches, such as wavelet coherence, Granger causality quantiles, quantile-on-quantile regression, applied examination at different times, frequencies, quantiles. Moreover, Toda-Yamamoto (TY) test quantile regression (QR) approach used robustness checks. The empirical results revealed that (i) there is a significant times frequencies; (ii) causal exists most excluding lowest quantile, some middle highest variables; (iii) power of effect on varies according quantiles; (iv) validated by TY QR, which show robust. Overall, reveal have an with prices, highlighting effects fluctuations Thus, imply Turkish policymakers should consider
