ABSTRACT
Post‐COVID‐19
mucormycosis,
particularly
the
rhino‐orbital‐cerebral
form,
can
be
life‐threatening.
This
case
highlights
importance
of
maintaining
high
clinical
suspicion,
especially
in
patients
with
recent
COVID‐19
history.
Prompt
diagnosis,
aggressive
surgical
debridement,
and
antifungal
therapy
are
crucial
for
successful
management,
even
without
traditional
risk
factors.

Abstract
Background
Infection
by
severe
acute
respiratory
syndrome
coronavirus
2
(SARS-CoV-2)
presents
with

symptoms
such
as
fever,
cough,
dyspnea,
and
chest
tightness
that

progress
rapidly
to
distress
(ARDS).
However,

(COVID-19)
