: Heavy metal pollution is one of the most serious environmental problems, because non-degradable nature heavy metals and their accumulation in food chain, which poses a severe threat to environment human health even at low concentrations. Most these ions can coordinate with biological molecules disturb function. Exposure cause different threats such as endothelial dysfunction, allergy, infant mortality, cancer, neurological diseases, respiratory oxidative stress, cardiovascular disorders kidney diseases. Therefore detection removal toxic species are very important. Deep eutectic solvents (DESs) green have excellent applications many fields. They contain nonsymmetrical that lattice energy, vapor pressure, dipolar nature, nonflammability, volatility, melting points, thermal chemical stability high solubility. DESs also better terms availability raw materials, easy synthetic procedure, cost starting materials storage. an ability for ions. In this review, we discussed various DES-based spectrophotometric fluorimetric chemosensors matrixes. Additionally, explored capabilities removing metals.
