Foreign direct investment (FDI) is considered a significant tool to transform modern technologies and innovation from developed developing countries. Unfortunately, some countries impose FDI restrictions for economic, political, social reasons. The present study assesses the role of different restrictive policies on inflows in OECD non-OECD empirical results are estimated by using panel quantile regression (PQR) at median 1998 2022. It uses all-restrictiveness index its four subtypes: equity, key foreign personnel, screening approval, operational restrictions; data extracted database. concluded that all restrictiveness policy indexes their subtypes propose inverted U-shaped curve. In contrast, countries, it shows relationship determine inflows. Furthermore, this also examines individual marginal effect. Australia, Canada, Mexico, New Zealand have imposed higher restrictions, which reduces FDI, while case, China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines increased This recommends reduce should increase it.

Green finance serves as a bridge between development and ecological sustainability. It provides roadmap for countries to accomplish sustainable goals by simultaneously curbing their footprint. financing prioritizes eco-friendly technologies, behaviors, renewable energy, green infrastructure, promoting positive changes. This study examines the role of on footprint 11 East Asian Pacific from 2000 2023. uses different diagnostic tests prove existence cross-sectional dependency, non-normality, slope heterogeneity. The coefficients are estimated using fully modified ordinary least squares (FMOLS) approach panel quantile regression at quantiles. results show validity an inverted U-shaped relationship Further analysis explores that middle quantile, all selected except Mongolia Philippines, while FMOLS shows countries’ reduces Additionally, globalization footprint, economic growth, industrialization, urbanization increase recommends fight against climate change, should focus more finance. Financial institutions provide funds only environment-friendly technologies.

To identify differences between who benefited EU-funded project implementation did not have this opportunity, t-Student ANOVA tests used. cluster analysis (k-means) was applied to classify cases evolution indicators, binary logistic regression used factors influencing probability that belong groups with better performance in relation analyzed dimensions. Our findings revealed while education projects significantly contributed development students, series disparities still persist among coming low-income families. underline need more targeted policies. advanced statistical analyses importance early interventions through programs. Also, they integrated, strategies increase chances supporting equity reducing inequalities.

ABSTRACT Reliable energy resources are indispensable for meeting growing human demand, and ensuring their sustainable use remains a critical global challenge in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. This study delves into linkage of shortage with key development indicators, including economic growth, index, index South Asian region. The empirical results estimated through panel quantile regression method movement approaches. found U‐shaped relationship, indicating that initial electrification access has limited impact on development, but after surpassing certain threshold, further improvement greatly accelerates social, environmental, development. These suggest non‐existence region, as most population already achieved electricity access. Furthermore, trade openness increases while urbanization gross capital formation present mixed results. findings need policy to promote practices renewable adoption, efficiency, equitable distribution rather than mere expansion. research offers valuable insights policymakers formulate policies support region's balance growth environmental sustainability.
