Abstract
With
the
rapid
development
of
digital
economy,
its
environmental
impact,
particularly
on
carbon
dioxide
emissions
in
resource-based
cities,
has
emerged
as
a
vital
research
topic.
Resource-based
often
central
to
traditional
industries,
are
confronted
with
dual
challenges
pollution
and
economic
transformation.
This
study
employs
empirical
analysis
examine
influence
economy
these
cities.
The
findings
reveal
that
significantly
reduces
emissions,
this
impact
being
more
pronounced
early
stages
gradually
diminishing
thereafter.
In
mechanism
analysis,
we
found
can
reduce
cities
by
raising
public
concern
about
environment.

In
a
highly
volatile
environment,
strengthening
resilience
is
essential

businesses
to
promote
sustainable
development,

(EID),
as
crucial

green

asymmetry

how
EID
affects
CR,

China’s
A-share-listed

CR
