Understanding the ecological security situation of Fuzhou City holds significant theoretical and practical value for government departments in implementing development strategies achieving Sustainable Development Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities Communities). Using Data, Information, Knowledge, Wisdom (DIKW) framework, this study combined various remote sensing GIS methods to comprehensively analyze Fuzhou's past, present, future levels. The results showed a strong isotropic cluster city's security. Among influencing factors, degree regional was found have greatest impact, while water body coverage had least. factors are mutually reinforcing. Under natural scenario, area secure level 2020 decreased by 1243.70 km2, under protection it declined 1263.34 km2. In future, is expected face increasing fragmentation. Based on these findings, proposes balance economic City. These recommendations aim provide with relevant data support land resource management contribute high-level

ABSTRACT Achieving carbon peaking and neutrality has been proposed as a strategic goal to drive the systematic transformation of economic social systems meet requirements sustainable human development. However, previous studies have seldom considered regional ecological security from perspective sources sinks. Adopting Chengdu‐Chongqing Economic Circle (CCEC) case study, this paper evaluates with factors aligned dual‐carbon goals. A combined weight Technique for Order Preference by Similarity Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) are applied assess security. Temporal spatial dynamics sources, sinks, Comprehensive Ecological Security Index (CESI) analyzed, alongside autocorrelation identify clustering patterns. The results indicate that: (1) Core source areas concentrated in Chengdu Plain Chongqing's urban centers, while high sequestration regions located around CCEC's periphery. (2) overall level steadily declined, accompanied significant variation CESI. (3) Over past decade, CESI exhibited pronounced clustering, an initial increase intensity followed decrease. study highlights importance planning enterprise coordination enhance By integrating sinks into assessments, research offers valuable insights reduction strategies development planning.

This study used Google Earth Engine (GEE) to get and process Landsat images of Xuzhou from 2008 2020, built remote sensing ecological indices (RSEI). analyzed the spatiotemporal features drivers environment quality after Xuzhou's transformation using landscape pattern index, spatial autocorrelation, geographic detector methods. The results showed that: (1) improved steadily but unevenly 2020; west central urban areas had poor improving quality, while east opposite trend; (2) in different regions did not change consistently (3) distribution significant with high-high clusters low-low center each district county; (4) NDVI is component index that has greatest impact on changes RSEI. Among single factors, land use conditions have strongest influence environmental quality. After interaction dual explanatory power stronger than any factor. research can support planning design, protection, etc. Xuzhou, offer insights for monitoring evaluation resource-exhausted cities.
