In agriculture crop ecosystem, pollination is the foremost fundamental activity performed by fascinating creatures like bees, butterflies, hoverflies, birds and bats that ensures reproductive success in angiosperms. Currently, most of pollinators are appearing red data book as their population abundance depleting ecosystem. Their extinction was driven threats habitat loss, climate change, urbanization, use chemical pesticides, pest diseases. Decline pollinator may pose a considerable decrease global food production productivity. Effective efficient conservation strategies key elements to mitigate faced promotion resilience. Here we explored wide range strategies, which restores following sustainable agricultural practices, some policy interventions. Public awareness collaborative efforts among governments, NGOs, private sector crucial for successful implementation adaptation these strategies. By acclimatizing an integrated, convincing approach conservation, can assure predict sustainability productivity eventually supports biodiversity security.

Pesticide pollution remains a significant environmental challenge, necessitating the exploration of sustainable alternatives. Biosurfactants are class unconventional surface-active chemicals that produced by microorganisms. have many applications in treating oil spills, emulsifiers, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. Compared to chemical surfactants, they benefits such as biodegradability, less toxicity, greener option because derived from microbes. recently been shown potential speed up pesticide cleanup. used remediation their exceptional foaming ability, high selectivity, wide range pH, salinity, temperature operating windows. Microbial biosurfactants emerged agents for treatment organic waste agricultural residue. This review unfolds promising realm microbial green solutions sustainability, particularly practices, with special reference remediation. article highlights escalating need eco-friendly alternatives, paving way discussing biosurfactants. Moreover, articles discuss detail various advancements field rapid screening biosurfactants, either using conventional approach or

Pesticide poisoning is widely accepted as a major public health problem in low- and middle-income countries, especially East Africa. However, very high proportion of unintentional poisonings are either unreported or misreported. To help fill this knowledge gap, we investigated the scale acute pesticide (UAPP) cotton-growing communities Tanzania by conducting cross-sectional survey 1074 cotton farmers farm workers. The findings from study revealed incidence self-reported negative effects following occupational exposure, with 48% respondents experiencing symptoms UAPP within previous 12 months. Furthermore, substantial incidents were associated few highly hazardous pesticides (HHPs), particularly profenofos, lambda cyhalothrin, co-formulations both chlorpyrifos cypermethrin. Of those reporting UAPP, only 6% sought medical treatment formal healthcare setting. clearly indicates an urgent need for improved regulation, up community surveillance, promotion less alternatives to use HHPs. We provide policy recommendations identify HHPs pest management.

Because of their beneficial effects in controlling pests, pesticides are used worldwide to reduce pests agricultural fields and commercial gardens, thereby increasing the crop yield. Pesticides ubiquitous environment besides targeting they also affect non-target organisms. This study was undertaken evaluate activity acetylcholine esterase (AChE) inhibition its associated health female tea plantation workers (TPW). In silico analysis applied identify whether pesticide exposure had an increased affinity after binding with AChE enzyme, findings were validated by measuring plasma subjects biochemical analysis. The found be considerably compromised TPW exposed pesticides. Inhibition may lead severe adverse effects, such as cough, fatigue, headache Among all pesticides, λ-cyhalothrin, fipronil, fenazaquine highest (−10.098 Kcal/mol, −8.574 −8.507 respectively) compared other natural substrate (−4.398 Kcal/mol). Based on results, have fenazaquine, these could responsible for enzyme inhibition. Hence, cause more humans finding biomarker role aid development effective antidotes against exposure, faciliating mitigation negative
