Purpose There is currently a lack of comprehensive examination in the research field exploring relationship between digitalization and environmental performance (EP) manufacturing small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This study investigates digital technologies, organizational culture (DOC), dynamism EP through mediation innovation capacity (IC) moderation perceived volatility green strategic intent (GSI). Design/methodology/approach The data were gathered from 473 managers SMEs Pakistan. Partial least square structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) was applied to examine effects. Multiple regression analysis used see influence DOC, dynamism, capacity, GSI on performance. Findings Results indicate statistically significant direct EP. While there an insignificant DOC Furthermore, results reported result IC. Similarly, IC significantly mediated Moreover, that does not moderate EP, while moderates Practical implications Policymakers must emphasize advancing integration enhance SMEs’ efficiency effectiveness. Originality/value first incorporates factors measure line natural resource orchestration theory (natural ROT). All variables instead culture. Perceived also moderate.

Purpose Stringent environmental regulations and the need for a robust supply chain (SC) network have necessitated organizations to adopt circular economy (CE) practices. With proven impact of CE practices on SC activities, digital technologies are prompting digitalize networks. Yet, correlation between digitalization has been less examined. This study aims identify evaluate, critical success factors (CSFs) necessitating strategies helping in digitalization. Design/methodology/approach An extensive literature review was performed CSFs 4.0 (SC4.0), finalization, experts’ input obtained with Delphi approach. integrated Fermatean fuzzy set – analytic hierarchy process decision-making trial evaluation laboratory combined compromise solution technique used evaluate strategies. Findings Smart work environment, performance monitoring data reliability relevance were identified as top three important Enhancement analytical capability, data-driven optimization development an platform potential SC4.0 transition Practical implications helps practitioners better understand transition. Furthermore, this explores integration principles within these strategies, emphasizing how sustainability can be embedded framework foster more resilient environmentally conscious electronics India. Originality/value To best authors’ knowledge, is first analyze Indian industry.

Purpose This study investigates the influence of knowledge hiding in organizations (KHOs), sharing (KSOs) and big data management (BDKM) on success. Monitoring (MNT) is used as a moderator between KHO Besides, success digital business intensity (DBI) are to attain competitive advantage (CA). Finally, advantage. Design/methodology/approach Data were collected through questionnaires using simple random sampling, total 433 final analysis. Partial least squares structural equation modeling test hypotheses. Findings Results indicate that KSO, BDKM monitoring positive, but negatively related moderates relationship Knowledge significantly Digital Practical implications Top managers can use findings decision-making if they want has negative success, this be changed by employees. BDKM, play vital role determining Originality/value By building culture knowledge-based view, contributes KHO, monitoring, literature.

Industry 4.0 has revolutionised supply chain processes, providing companies with strategic advantages through advanced technologies such as cyber-physical systems, cloud computing, IoT, AI, and big data. This transformation aligns the pursuit of high-level performance, achieved cross-functional collaboration, end-to-end connectivity, real-time asset tracking, increased decision transparency. However, quantifiable extent its influence remained an open question, particularly in context integration visibility. To address this gap, our research employs empirical study, revealing that indirectly enhances performance by improving connectivity within between organisations, well enhancing information visibility uncovers a novel sequential mediation visibility, offering valuable insights for scholars industry practitioners alike.

Purpose Drawing on resource-orchestration theory (ROT), this study investigates the influence of market intelligence and entrepreneurial orientation (EO) international performance born global (BG) small medium enterprises (SMEs) in emerging markets with mediating role technological competence. Quality focus is used as a moderator between competence performance. Design/methodology/approach Data were gathered through survey, PLS-SEM was employed for hypotheses testing sample 256 BG SMEs. Findings The results showed that intelligence, EO, quality positively relate to Moreover, EO are associated Besides, significantly mediates relationship Finally, strengthens positive Practical implications Our research demonstrates if management utilizes or invests focus, then SMEs will increase their Originality/value paper contribution lies its exogenous constructs (i.e. focus) determine markets.
