Experimental research into the hydraulic conductivity curve (HCC) of unsaturated soil is limited due to inherent challenge associated with labor, cost, and time. Typically, HCC estimated using water characteristic (SWCC)based models saturated (SHC). However, efficiency SWCC-based model rarely assessed, influence density pore structure on remains incomplete experimental data. To address this gap, study employs an innovative filter-paper-based column method, which can measure over a wide suction range (e.g. 0−105 kPa), capture HCCs both intact compacted specimens varying dry densities.
