In this work, we present a novel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) sensor for ascorbic acid detection based on borosilicate crown (BK7) prism coated with multilayer structure made of ferric oxide (Fe 2 O 3 ), silver (Ag), and carbon nanotube (CNT). The SPR improves sensitivity selectivity by taking advantage the special optical characteristics construction. CNT layer offers increased area biocompatibility, Ag acts as plasmonic material to promote plasmons. performance is improved addition selenium (Se) Fe layers, which provide further capabilities like photoconductivity magnetic manipulation, respectively. Numerical analysis at operating wavelength 633 nm conducted using transfer matrix approach. For proposed room temperature, characteristics, including (274.37 degree (°)/RIU), figure merit (40.60 RIU −1 accuracy (0.189° are computed. could be very useful in detect visible range.

In this work, we proposed and performed the numerical analysis of novel surface plasmon resonance (SPR) biosensor architecture (Prism-BAK1/Ag/WS $_{2}$ /Ni/BP/SM) based on angular interrogation at a wavelength 633 nm. At minimum reflectance ( notation="LaTeX">$R_{\mathrm{min}})$ value, remarkable sensitivity figure merit (FoM) 198.15 notation="LaTeX">$^{\circ}$ /RIU 64.79/RIU are attained refractive index (RI) range 1.33–1.41 for sensing medium (SM). Additionally, performance parameters SPR meticulously measured in relation to FoM, sensitivity, limit detection (LoD), accuracy (DA) concerning concentration complementary target DNA hybridization SM. The maximum is achieved with hybridization. Notably, probe mismatch demonstrate sensitivities 379.69 383.01 /RIU, respectively.
